Type the following into the posting window but replace the rounded brackets with angled brackets:
This is me banging my head on the desk:
(img src="http://www.telepath.com/purkat/aniunder.gif")
Then click on Check for Dust and you will see the animation.
There are lots of sites with this kind of stuff. Do a search on "Free Clipart". 1328. bloodnfire - 3/27/2000 7:06:35 PM Thanks Pelle. I'd already understood that. What I want to do is to be able to send it, animated, in e-mail. I think my son and I have worked out how to do it. I'll experiment and have a lot of fun doing it! I really appreciate your help. 1329. FXMuckermind - 3/28/2000 6:32:37 AM Save the animation to your hard drive, create the mail, insert it into the mail, and send it.
If you are using suck mail then jst attach it.
1330. FXMuckermind - 3/28/2000 6:33:24 AM just
that should be 'just attach it'
1331. bloodnfire - 3/29/2000 9:25:40 AM Thanks for the added suggestions FXMuckermind. Having saved a moving icon on my hard drive (under downloads in the C: drive), how do I then transfer it to this thread, as you did with the 'Banging Head'. ? 1332. FXMuckermind - 3/29/2000 12:00:09 PM
You can't. That is, not from your hard drive. You have to publish it on a web server, and it has to be one that allows external linking. GeoCities, Xoom, Tripod and others have disabled the ability to link to just images.
You need to find one of the few that allow this.

GeoCities allows linking of images, at least it did last week. 1334. FXMuckermind - 3/29/2000 11:06:31 PM Well lets just check
Guess I was wrong. You can use Geocities to do it. 1335. FXMuckermind - 3/29/2000 11:16:04 PM
this could mean some serious fun you know
