You can't. That is, not from your hard drive. You have to publish it on a web server, and it has to be one that allows external linking. GeoCities, Xoom, Tripod and others have disabled the ability to link to just images.
You need to find one of the few that allow this.

I never had to use
to make a paragraph because I just write it on the screen as 2 seperate paragraphs and I thought the poem would show up that way, too... 1346. If you remember back in the early days, we had to code in our paragraphs and line breaks as well. 1348.
