I was able to change the post number color back to black, but I didn't immediately see how to fix the link attributes, so I took the easier path and deleted the post. But thanks for the link; I was reading up on CSS in Webmonkey myself.

For the record, soup was playing, and refused to pick up his/her toys after being asked. I tried to "fix" it, but was only partially successful.
