Whereas your predictability is very uninteresting.

Trillium,

I'm not sure that's such a great source. The article right before it extolls the virtues of a Trump presidency and why more intellectuals should support him. Then there's the sidebar link denying climate change and claiming that there's some not-so-secret cabal of university professors across the nation trying to undermine Libertarians.

The Oregon Times is reporting that there were as many as 15 confidential informants --- not the same thing as undercover agents.

11749. judithathome - 10/31/2016 11:18:20 PM

Oh har....thanks for THAT info, Ms No...now I won't need to look that site up!

For anybody who hasn't figured it out yet, trillium provides us a little glimpse into the minds of the alt right. Too bad more people aren't getting such glimpses. Trump might not be as close as he is right now.

STASI was expensive. Their organization (like Gestapo) was in place to squash any opposition. There is a second effect to squashing free speech -- when normal open communication slows to a crawl, productivity suffers badly, and blatant corruption goes uncontested. Who would want that? (besides some Moties who failed to learn from history?)

30 years later, still rooting out STASI

"As an East German dissident he was forced into exile by the Stasi. Now, almost 30 years later, Roland Jahn will become caretaker of the vast archives of the secret police force that once spied on him.

"The files built by the Stasi using a network of informants that numbered one in every 90 East German citizens have been used since reunification in 1990 to root out former Stasi employees and collaborators in public service."

Oregonlive link, if you've been forbidden to read the account of someone who attended the trial and took notes. Fifteen "confidential human sources" surrounded the Bundys -- their drivers, cooks, weapons instructors and who knows who else? were all "reimbursed" for their political activities.

The Oregonion/OregonLive on Malheur prosecution

"Two of the 15 have been identified through trial as Mark McConnell, who was driving the Jeep when Ammon Bundy was arrested on Jan. 26, and Terri Linnell, who was called as a witness by the defense.

"U.S. District Judge Anna J. Brown asked the government to provide her with unredacted reports from the 15 informants. Each is formally described by the FBI as a "CHS'' or confidential human source.

So one "confidential human source" was driving Bundy's jeep; another "confidential human source" was giving firearms instruction.

What about the bozo who was providing live feed that terrorized federal employees? Would bet a small amount that "occupier" was a "confidential human source" (as well as a lousy actor).

Well, how effing DUMB does that make the Bundys????

I would guess that no one is posting because...seriously, what can be said about what is going on these days in the news....it's like very bad fiction but it's REAL.

Best line of the entire year thus far: "Make America Sick Again".

I'd say that started on election day. And for the country...it is a self-inflicted wound.

Fatal or not remains to be seen.

11760. winstonsmith - 1/5/2017 1:42:50 AM

Self Inflicted - sadly, that about sums it up.

Guns & Ammo found in violin case and buckets in Washington DC park

11762. judithathome - 1/8/2017 12:36:00 AM

Not a good sign for sure...this link would not work for me....

11763. Trillium - 1/8/2017 2:35:34 AM

If it's misposted again, try googling violin + gun + Washington DC + buckets + ammunition

These links worked fine...thanks!

Smart lady to alert the police! See something/say something is a great plan. We should all be more alert.

11765. judithathome - 1/8/2017 9:28:12 PM

I got a kick out of one the featured stories in one of the links...the one about Trump's "Celeb Crew"...if you need a good chuckle, it's a "must read"!
