1553. CalGal - 8/27/2000 1:53:42 AM This is still unofficial, because I haven't linked it in and need to Real Soon Now, but here is our FAQs page. 1554. PelleNilsson - 8/27/2000 2:29:56 AM Dusty
You must tell us about Kilimanjaro and Sereengeti when you get back.

I like the FAQ. But I'm surprised at the complexity of ordering at Amazon and WH Smith. 1555. Rama - 8/31/2000 1:41:52 PM I am only interested a bit of emphasis and the occasional bold statement. 1556. dusty - 8/31/2000 5:44:22 PM Welcome to the Mote, Rama 1557. PelleNilsson - 8/31/2000 6:02:27 PM And welcome back, Dusty! Do tell us about Kilimanjaro and Serengeti. 1558. cmboyce - 9/1/2000 1:36:07 AM One main item.

I tried to copy Pelle's Message # 1520, as seen on Page Source—and I'm pretty sure I did so accurately—and this, this, is what I get. Hmmm. What's wrong?
Also, is it possible to get (purposely) the indents without any numeration? For lineage in a poem, eg.
It seems this must be leaving toys, but if my [bracket]/ol[close bracket] doesn't do it, I don't know how to put 'em away.1559. PelleNilsson - 9/1/2000 3:36:21 AM cm
The ordered lists must be nested. You don't close the main item list until the very end. Same with the sub-item list. You close after you have done (and closed) the sub-sub item list. 1560. dusty - 9/1/2000 9:36:23 PM

"but if my [bracket]/ol[close bracket] doesn't do it,"
It does, but you had three open "ol"'s so you need three closes.

test1563. dusty - 9/1/2000 9:37:35 PM OK, so I can't count. 1564. anomieme - 9/2/2000 10:49:38 AM Hi everyone,
Been reading but not posting for a long time. let's see if the password works.
I've been here before as Jello and Anomie of sorts....been reading for years.
I'm back in the Pacific time zone having lived in England for several years, so maybe I can sustain some kind of banter...or nonsense in my case.
So.....let's see if this posts.. Hi Jen! Cheers, Mate.
1565. anomieme - 9/2/2000 10:57:36 AM Okay it worked....
BTW, no one ever told me where to send the money to keep this place running. I'm glad to contribute. You'll never know the endless hours I survived reading here.
Is there an address or account to send to?
1566. anomieme - 9/2/2000 10:59:21 AM There was a question about "toys". I don't know what that refers to. Any help? 1567. CalGal - 9/2/2000 10:59:40 AM Hi, and welcome back!
You can email JJ about funds--jjbiener@yahoo.com
You were in England? Work or play? 1568. CalGal - 9/2/2000 11:02:44 AM "toys" are a way of referring to HTML usage. Check HTML Hints (the link above the posting window) for more explanations. 1569. anomieme - 9/2/2000 12:07:58 PM CalGal,
Was there for work....but you were one of my first contacts when I went to Florida fror the first time. You're amazing....
This is back in Fray time....still, I think you're tops!

1570. joezan - 9/2/2000 1:28:22 PM
Hey, Jello!
Hope you stick around... 1571. anomieme - 9/2/2000 11:30:08 PM Thanks, Joezan.
I'm a shy, infrequent poster, but if I don't lose my password again I'll be popping in and out.
1572. CalGal - 9/2/2000 11:31:37 PM If you do lose your password, don't forget to check with the gatekeeper, Indy. I think he can help with that. Also, why not use auto-login? That way, if you're on your own PC, you won't need the password.
