Our Thai student May said "let's pray for Japan." A Korean student said "I hope they ain't die!" I mean, if the kid drowned in the family pool, why did they report her missing? Why did they hide the body? Why accuse the husband of molestation and abuse?
She must've been an incredibly sympathetic character for the jury. I think the evidence in the Scott Petersen trial was more circumstantial than this one.
10129. Ms. No - 7/7/2011 7:56:12 PM Ah, just saw some juror testimony and it seems that because the prosecution couldn't prove cause of death it's not possible to prove murder. I'm not so much on the "lacking motive" part. Her motive would've been the same as that of any of these killer spawners: a kid cramps my lifestyle. 10130. judithathome - 7/8/2011 11:11:13 PM The prosecution/DA should have gone for "negligent homicide"...
She and the defense attorney both have the same agent now...this trial will prove to be a money maker for them both. And no "can't profit from a crime" statute need apply since she was deemed not guilty.
