10444. arkymalarky - 7/20/2004 4:25:39 AM If you're smart, you do. And we always look over our shoulders when we eat. 10445. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 4:29:17 AM I sat on an overturned milk-crate last night and ate off the pull-out cutting board in the kitchen. The dining room table's still stacked with boxes and I haven't yet put together the chairs I got at Ikea ---- they take up less space unassembled.
I've set a goal of getting through two columns of boxes tonight. If I can manage that then I'll have cleared the table and be able to put my chairs together.
Wheee! 10446. arkymalarky - 7/20/2004 4:30:06 AM I generally am not too fond of green, and when I did my kitchen/dining/living room the carpenters were looking at eachother and my husband like "she's gone nute" but I have the same colors I started with (all over the house, for that matter), and I still love them.
BTW, our house is yellow on the outside. I've got to post some pictures here soon. I've got them now and am set up to do it. I just need to get an account in Shutterfly. Maybe I'll do that later today or Thursday. I won't be around during the day tomorrow. I've spent the last few online days working on getting my computer to the perfection it was before I left for vacation. It's much better now, though it may never be quite the same. 10447. arkymalarky - 7/20/2004 4:31:28 AM We still haven't taken everything out of our car from vacation.
I don't know why I'm compelled to tell stuff on myself like that. 10448. arkymalarky - 7/20/2004 4:32:03 AM nuts, not nute 10449. jayackroyd - 7/20/2004 4:46:09 AM Standard Manhattan off white here, except the kitchen which is a daring mustard yellow. 10450. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 4:47:37 AM oooh! you rebel, you! 10451. judithathome - 7/20/2004 4:51:34 AM My whole house is white...every room. But there are interesting things on the walls, at least. 10452. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 4:56:19 AM You have a fascinating house, Juditha. I could spend hours just looking at things there. It's like a live-in museum but completely cozy, not cold or fussy or untouchable. 10453. judithathome - 7/20/2004 5:10:17 AM We have some antique dust here and there right now, MsNo.... 10454. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 5:29:42 AM hahaha, yeah, I'm doing a lot of dusting as I go along. 10455. judithathome - 7/20/2004 5:49:16 AM We're having our friends from Greece visit after the summer Olympics are over so I will have to get busy and clean this place to within an inch of its dust...won't take as long as you'd think but it will be a daunting chore.
Are you in a house or an apartment...I was telling Keoni last night about your moving to a new place and realized I didn't know which you'd moved to. 10456. alistairConnor - 7/20/2004 6:45:43 AM I haven't yet put together the chairs I got at Ikea ---- they take up less space unassembled.
for no obvious reason, I damn near pissed myself over this remark. 10457. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 6:51:08 AM J,
I'm in a front/back duplex --- my half is the front part. It's circa 1950's so it's more like a house than an apartment. 10458. Ms. No - 7/20/2004 6:53:40 AM AC,
It's funny to me too. Until I get more stuff unpacked and boxes thrown out, though, floor space is at a premium so I haven't put them together yet. Right now they're just two slim boxes that lean up against the wall out of the way. They won't be large chairs when assembled --- just dining table size, but I'm operating on the premise that it's easier and less unwieldy to store a closed umbrella than an open one....
...unless I suspend them from the ceiling. 10459. Magoseph - 7/20/2004 8:31:08 AM That last sentence just got me but good, as my hairdresser would say. 10460. judithathome - 7/20/2004 8:52:36 AM So how does your hair look, Magos? 10461. Macnas - 7/20/2004 4:13:37 PM You know, I'm trying, but I cannot recall what colour our bedroom is. 10462. Macnas - 7/20/2004 5:49:31 PM No, still hasn't come to me. 10463. alistairconnor - 7/20/2004 6:21:57 PM Come on pop psychologists... what does this tell us about the man's sex life?
... when it comes to bedtime, he's colour blind?
