Is this it?

1043. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:38:14 AM

Thanks, Joezan!

1044. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:38:23 AM

Snowowl, you turn off a < font color=blue> command with </font>, not < /color>

1045. SnowOwl - 2/5/2000 10:38:30 AM

Too late. Thanks Dusty. Nothing like a little bit of parading my skills around when I haven't actually got any skills to speak of.

1046. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:38:56 AM

Absensia

Welcome!!!

1047. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:40:08 AM

Snowowl,
Well, it isn't really too late, as I assume you would like to use the command sometime again.

1048. SnowOwl - 2/5/2000 10:40:21 AM

Yeah, I realise that now, after doing as I should have done to begin with, and reading the hints page. Consider me well and truly chastised.

1049. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:41:08 AM

< font color=red> Thank you, Dusty!!!< /font color=blue>

1050. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:41:37 AM

No problem.

You knew this was the place to practice. That's a great start.

1051. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:41:40 AM

Thank didn't work...LOL..but thanks!

1052. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:43:34 AM

Will this do it?

1053. SnowOwl - 2/5/2000 10:43:50 AM

Abs,

You had a space between your first bracket and the command. Try again.

1054. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:45:07 AM

Absensia

You put a space between the < symbol and "font". When you do that, the command doesn't execute.

When you want to turn it off, you don't need to add the color attribute, and you don't want a space between the < and the / character.

1055. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:45:21 AM

Great!

1056. SnowOwl - 2/5/2000 10:45:47 AM

Okay smartass, what's your next trick?

1057. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:46:19 AM

Yes, SnowOwl
told me!

1058. dusty - 2/5/2000 10:46:33 AM

Absensia

Another hint, after you put your "creation" into the window, click on "Check for dust" first—it will show you how the post will look.

1059. SnowOwl - 2/5/2000 10:47:12 AM

Don't encourage her, dusty. You may be unleashing a monster.

1060. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:47:13 AM

oops, it didn't blink...hey, you people are great..and patient!

1061. Absensia - 2/5/2000 10:48:12 AM

Oh, good idea, thanks Dusty.
