Too late, SnowOwl, I announced it in Message # 10621

Hello, everyone.

10670. judithathome - 8/5/2004 9:38:15 PM

Congrats, Snow!

I'm up early and very energetic this morning.

We're going out to dinner tonight and taking my physical therapist, a really good looking young lady with huge blue eyes and blonde hair. I mentioned to my son where we'd be and invited him to join us...his romance of a lifetime just blew apart a couple of weeks ago. He said he might be there. My bet is that he will.

10671. PelleNilsson - 8/5/2004 11:36:01 PM

That's good news, Snowowl. I hope you will have the opportunity to come to Sweden some time soon.

Glorious rain storms here today! So much for any sailing this weekend but that's okay, I really do need to clean up the hovel. Sadly, the cats refuse to pull their own weight when it comes to housework.

Judith,

Sounds like a great evening. I hope your son goes.

I've got to get tires put on Mose's car today and get an allergy shot--I'd flat forgotten to earlier this week. I'm going to have to get a set schedule now that school's starting. Finishing picking up stuff before school starts and finishing the house, then starting some major projects I have to do this fall are the sum total of my weekend plans.

I'm supposed to be working on a fairly long (20 pages or more) researched article that's supposed to be done by around the end of September, and I have got to kick in on it. I keep shoving myself but so far I refuse to budge.

10674. arkymalarky - 8/6/2004 1:38:26 AM

Mose goes back to school next weekend and I have a meeting in Pine Bluff, so Bob's going to have to get her situated without my supervisory assistance. Don't know how they'll possibly manage.

Hard to believe this time a week ago, we were headed to your house, Arky.

10676. Magoseph - 8/6/2004 2:56:15 AM

Thank you to Judith for asking Hobbes at ATI to put a link for The Mote on his site. Hobbes put it on for us, folks.

10677. arkymalarky - 8/6/2004 3:49:00 AM

I agree. This week has flown by. In fact, the summer has. Bet the fall and winter won't. ;-)

Thank you to Hobbes and the ATI people!

10678. neato - 8/6/2004 8:45:22 AM

What's ATI?

10679. arkymalarky - 8/6/2004 8:48:42 AM

All Things International, a forum at a site called World Crossing. I've never been to ATI, but a number of former Moters/Fraygrants (from Slate) and people from Salon's Table Talk forum post there and at another World Crossing forum called Random International, which is very nice.

I was hoping we might lure some conservatives over here.

10681. Magoseph - 8/6/2004 9:32:10 AM

You mean someone like Gotham?

10682. judithathome - 8/6/2004 9:35:34 AM

Ha! No, I think he's been "censured" here already.

10683. neato - 8/6/2004 11:46:54 AM

Thanks Arky

10684. Magoseph - 8/6/2004 9:40:05 PM

tmesis, may I ask you what is your gender?

10685. tmesis - 8/7/2004 5:35:15 AM

Male. Currently single.

Ladies?

10686. judithathome - 8/7/2004 5:53:47 AM

I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world. Of course.

10687. Magoseph - 8/7/2004 6:03:28 AM

tmesis, now I have to know what kind of woman you would be interested to date.

10688. tmesis - 8/7/2004 6:29:53 AM

I'm not too particular, but generally I like broads who are charming, compassionate, and don't mind joking about farts. Which rules out all the conservative broads I've met. Other than that, I like intelligence, good taste, fluency in a language I don't speak, nice tits etc. but don't insist on any of them.
