11142. SnowOwl - 8/23/2004 5:45:45 AM Second day of snow. I went for a walk yesterday and saw plenty of inept drivers who'd attempted to get up the hills and had to abandon the attempt. One coming downhill almost collected me as he totally lost control of his car and slid across the road into a lamp-post.
I wanted to stock up with the essentials Pelle suggested but when I got to the shops I found most of them had closed early. Alas, no chips, so I had to double up on th gin instead.

I've been trying to persuade my daughter to come outside and make snowmen and have a snowball fight but she thinks I've totally lost my mind. It's hard having a snowball fight by myself.

neato - I'm still working on my plan to move in with our son and his wife. They take possession of their house tomorrow but don't actually move in until Monday.
