Give them back ye thieving vikings.

11216. PelleNilsson - 8/26/2004 8:13:08 PM

You don't get them in your place? Of course you do.

11217. Macnas - 8/26/2004 8:49:18 PM

What? Crabs? I never.

11218. PsychProf - 8/27/2004 1:48:35 AM

Mac...I understand the Vikings humour as a result of my visit to your fine country.

I'm an early Vonage adopter. It's worked out quite well. I've reduced my monthly cell minutes, cutting my cell rate in half, and pay 24.99 for 500 minutes of LD and unlimited regional calling. It's on a DSL, and so I had to buy a verizon line--which is okay; I use that as my home number and the Vonage line as my business. On a cable modem you

Simple to set up. You get a Cisco box that you plug into your broadband connection and into your phone.

11220. jayackroyd - 8/27/2004 2:26:56 AM

On a cable you.....

could get rid of your Baby Bell entirely.

11221. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 3:37:22 AM

I looked at Vonage but when I realized I'd have to have a DSL provider as well as Vonage I skipped it. I still haven't decided how I want to be connected at home.

Currently I'm using my cell-phone as my only phone.

I've made a somewhat disturbing discovery.

My favorite scent at Bath and Body Works is being discontinued --- actually, it's already been discontinued.

Bergamot Corriander.

Now, it's upsetting enough to find that I won't be able to get the product that I want in future, but perhaps even more disturbing is the news that it was discontinued because it was unpopluar.

This works out to mean that most other people think I stink.

11223. judithathome - 8/27/2004 4:18:21 AM

Not me...I love that stuff! Look for sales later in the year when they clear out everything they've discontinued in the past.

I have a new, never opened bottle of Body Spray and half a bottle of body lotion that I'll happily send to you if you send me your address. Might have some shower gel, too...

11224. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 4:42:03 AM

In the Bergamot Corriander???? Really???

You're the coolest ever! Do you use any of their other scents? I've got some body washes and lotions that are nice but don't really suit me so I've never used them.

I'm coming to Dallas at Thanksgiving and we could trade then. (You know, no trip to Texas is complete without a visit with you and Keoni!)

11225. judithathome - 8/27/2004 4:46:08 AM

Hey, that would be great! But I'm serious...if you want them before that, I can send them any time.

And yes, it is Bergamot Corriander.

I have some different stuff I like in the winter called Sandalwood Rose...I have everything in that fragrance, including the sugar scrub.

11226. judithathome - 8/27/2004 4:47:49 AM

Oh, and the reason I have the stuff left over is, I got onto the White Tea and Ginger stuff this summer. It's not the Aromatherapy line but I really liked it.

11227. The Summer Woman - 8/27/2004 5:01:58 AM

I don't like to be all scented up.

May come from a childhood in which my father referred to perfume as "peefume".

11228. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 5:20:48 AM

hahaha, that's funny, Summer. I'm picky about scent. If it's too strong or just the wrong smell it makes me wheezy and irritable. I avoid malls and department stores like the plague for that reason.

11229. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 5:21:56 AM

Juditha,

Sure! I'll send my new addy along momentarily.

11230. judithathome - 8/27/2004 5:22:44 AM

Well, I love it and have since I was young and my auntie would bring me little samples from her world travels.

When I was a teenager, my dad would give me sets of Chanel #5 soaps, powder, and perfume. I've smelled good since the 50s!

11231. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 5:23:47 AM

And I can't believe I just posted both of those before announcing that I just got the call from my brother and my sil is due to be induced in two hours which means we'll be welcoming another boy to the family between 12a and 2a PST tonight!!!!

WAHOOOO!

Can't wait! Can't wait! Can't wait!

Of course, that's not the greatest state of mind to be in some 12 hours before he's likely to show up. Sheesh. I'll have to take a nap or something.

Like THAT will happen. ;->

11232. wonkers2 - 8/27/2004 5:27:11 AM

Cap'n Dirty sez, "The Cap'n's glad Summer Woman stays away from perfume cause after a moonlight cruise aboard the Tomater Sloop, the missus can detect strange perfume clear acrost the room! So, hop aboard."

11233. Ms. No - 8/27/2004 5:27:57 AM

Juditha,

You do always smell good and I've never noticed you wearing anything that irritated my nose.

Some perfumes are to blame all by themselves other times it's the amount of scent or occasionally the body chemistry of the person wearing it. Also, I tend to get waaaay overdone on trendy scents. If I never smell Giorgio or Escape for Men again I'll be perfectly content. And have you ever known anyone who could wear Magie Noir?

11234. judithathome - 8/27/2004 5:42:19 AM

Magie Noir

Many have tried, unfortunately.

And all the little old ladies who worked at Neiman's would wear Tea Rose...arrrggghhh. I will never smell like that, even though I am probably as old as they were when we shared an elevator every morning.
