sorry for leaving my toys out.

11266. judithathome - 9/1/2004 7:53:04 AM

Magoseph has had a death in the family and has asked me to let everyone know she will be away for a bit.

11267. arkymalarky - 9/1/2004 7:56:48 AM

Oh my. I'm sorry to hear that. Let her know we're thinking about her.

11268. wonkers2 - 9/1/2004 8:29:57 AM

Condolences to Magoseph.

11269. alistairconnor - 9/1/2004 8:11:46 PM

Oh! sorry about Mago.

Scrolling back a bit :

Bergamot Corriander

Earl Grey and curry! Goody goody gumdrops!

11270. Magoseph - 9/2/2004 12:26:42 AM

Thanks, Wonk, Arky, and Ali. Flexy's brother died of a stroke Tuesday night--cremation and Arlington burial are in the works. See you all later, have a nice week-end!

11271. PelleNilsson - 9/2/2004 12:38:34 AM

Sorry about your and Flexy's loss, Magoseph.

11272. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 12:46:45 AM

Oh, Mags. I'm so sorry.

11273. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 12:53:51 AM

Earl Grey and Curry? Really? Two of my favorites!!

The salon lady who threads my eyebrows always smells delicious. The scent of curry in her hands is so soothing. Makes me want to curl up in her lap and take a nap.

11274. alistairConnor - 9/2/2004 4:21:45 AM

... threads your eyebrows?

Dare I ask?

11275. judithathome - 9/2/2004 4:34:49 AM

ha! Tell him...tell him!

11276. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 4:44:30 AM

hahaha, I realize that makes it look as if I have little weaves or toupees on my brows. That might be interesting.

Actually it's just for shaping the brows --- like waxing or plucking but done with a twisted up thread. I go in every couple of months because I'm not good about maintaining the right shape on my own. I can touch up and keep things fairly under control but every couple of months I go in and let a professional do it.

11277. wabbit - 9/2/2004 4:45:04 AM

I'm so sorry to hear about Flexy's brother, mags.

11278. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 5:04:26 AM

I've got pics! If only I can remember the password to my Shutterfly account.

11279. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 5:04:40 AM

Uh, pics of my nephew, not my eyebrows.

11280. Ms. No - 9/2/2004 5:28:05 AM

Notice the Lo-Jack cuff on his ankle? I was shocked but it makes sense to have them. You can't take a baby off the ward with one of those things on--- it sets off an alarm. And when they bring the baby into the room they check his ID# against the mother's ID# bracelet.

You can see what a big kid he is here. 23 1/2 inches long/tall. He's less than 24 hours old in these pics.

Mom and baby go home from the hostpital tomorrow. He ended up having a little jaundice so they wanted to put him under the lamps for a day and Jess need a little more recovery time anyway. However much it sucks to be in the hospital you really do rest more there than at home.

Congrats, Ms. No!

Stolen babies, aborted babies,
women are seed pods
blustering in the wind of circumstance

Anyway. Long weekend tomorrow, I'm taking Friday off until the Monday Labor Day.

No plans, we'll relax and flow.

11282. alistairconnor - 9/2/2004 4:07:47 PM

Manacles on the feet.

No thanks. I'd rather take my chances with the gypsies.

11283. wabbit - 9/2/2004 10:30:18 PM

He *is* big! Congrats to the whole family, Ms. No!

11284. Ms. No - 9/3/2004 1:44:18 AM

hahaha, yeah, my SIL was disappointed at first that she had to have a cesarean and then she saw how big he was and said "Thank God! What was I thinking?"

My brother replied "I was thinking we might have had a place to park the second car."
