There is also the fact I "ran away from home" when I got a divorce, instead of staying here; it was very abrupt and no one had a clue I was contemplating doing this. Um, I just rented "School of Rock". Only watched the fist 15 minutes, but the plot seems to be, slacker rocker-wanna-be signs up as a sub teacher and enlists some of the kids in the local battle of the bands contest.

Thanks, all, for the nice comments wrt my parents. They have unfortunately had their moment in the sun with their Harley. They didn't even cruise the block, but returned it to be sold by the Harley place and they'll take the money. They didn't even give me time to try to borrow some leather for them to wear. No sense of adventure, those two. ;-)

I may be wrong, but I think that van belongs to the radio station. Hot Springs has a huge bikers' convention every year and it was just last week. The turnout was enormous, but I don't remember how much. The drawing had 180,000 entries, though, so Dad's win was pretty impressive. 11403. Magoseph - 9/16/2004 9:34:35 PM
