Jen won't tell the best Texas joke.

George Bush.

11906. Jenerator - 11/3/2004 5:57:30 PM

That doesn't really work, Judith.

Knock knock.

Who's there?

George Bush.

George Bush who?

George Bush, that's who.

11907. judithathome - 11/3/2004 10:29:50 PM

Hey, it works for me...mine, I mean.

Enjoy it while you can.

11908. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 12:03:38 PM

The two preceding posts are not understood by me, J and J. Stop playing with my mind because right now, it is in a precarious state. Give some sexy jokes, please.

11909. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 12:04:13 PM

Hey, Mac.

11910. Macnas - 11/4/2004 12:09:17 PM

Howdy Mago

11911. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 12:20:13 PM

This is Judith's armoire from Scotland...it's in the upper level of her garden room.

11912. Macnas - 11/4/2004 12:23:16 PM

Nice veneer work, wonder how old it is?

11913. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 12:23:25 PM

Mac, I'm fine, thanks, gun-ho ready to walk my two morning miles under the rain.

Nice armoire above, yes?

11914. Macnas - 11/4/2004 12:31:47 PM

Very nice. Be sure to stay dry now.

11915. Macnas - 11/4/2004 1:40:58 PM

Look at this, it's a family who have photographed themselves once a year since 1976, kind of cool I think.

11916. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 2:13:22 PM

Amazing and fascinating, Mac, thanks for sharing this with us.

11917. Jenerator - 11/4/2004 4:55:00 PM

Mags,

I only know silly pirate jokes.

Love the armoir, Judith!

11918. Ms. No - 11/4/2004 6:32:38 PM

Ha! That pic was the first thing I saw when I came in here and I thought "Wow, that sure looks like Judith's house."

Advise me:

At some point I would like to start a discussion about a post-Castro Cuba. I think it is now likely that Castro will die or otherwise stop ruling Cuba sometime in the next four years. What will/should the Bush administration do?

My question: is this more of an International issue or an American Politics issue?

11920. Magoseph - 11/4/2004 8:39:35 PM

I would say that it is more of an International issue. However, Pelle, Wabbit, Ms. No, or Arky may give you better advice, Elliott.

11921. ElliottRW - 11/4/2004 8:49:35 PM

Thanks, Mags. I'll go ahead and pose the question in International and see if anyone wants to chat about it.

11922. Ms. No - 11/4/2004 8:59:32 PM

Elliot,

I think it's worthy of it's own thread, honestly. Would you be willing to host?

11923. ElliottRW - 11/4/2004 10:36:19 PM

Ms. No,

Thanks for your support. Also, I am willing to host, provided there is significant interest.

How has this worked in the past? Do threads usually start from scratch or spin off?

Anyway, I posted in International to get things going. We'll see how things develop.

11924. judithathome - 11/5/2004 12:21:03 AM

Thanks, guys...that armoire is about 75 years old. I traded a plain French one for it about 11 years ago, when we moved here to this house. My houseguest was practicing with his new digital camera the other day and downloaded it for me.
