Uh, Prof, do you remember exactly where you changed the alignment? I see what looks like an alignment command but, oh, hell, how bad could I screw it up, really?

Famous last words...

12597. wabbit - 12/8/2004 6:17:23 PM

Did that work?

12598. Magoseph - 12/8/2004 6:18:49 PM

Seems to work.

12599. Ms. No - 12/8/2004 6:19:29 PM

nope, that didn't do it. I'm just not familiar with that alignment command. Perhaps if I just do it exactly as you did it but backwards?

Of course this could go very badly.

12600. Ms. No - 12/8/2004 6:20:00 PM

Yes! Now lets see if I ruined all your hard work by posting after you. ;->

12601. wabbit - 12/8/2004 6:21:44 PM

Mags, I don't know about a separate list, but most of the shopping links are probably in one of those threads, so I thought it was better than nothing to post the thread links.

AC, I uploaded about 40mb of archives last night while I was looking for Abs threads. That took over two hours! Slow servers, not my connections. I have about 225mb left, then I'll make a page with links to all the old threads. Meanwhile, if anyone is looking for one in particular, I can always post a link here or there.

12602. Ms. No - 12/8/2004 6:22:23 PM

Wabz,

You're the total bomb!

12603. wabbit - 12/8/2004 6:26:47 PM

Oz, you really don't even need to center an image here, one that size pretty much fills the column anyway. However, here is what you need to do:

It's the closing tag that was missing. Don't mind the 470 width, that's the max width you can post here without screwing up the margins. One of these days we'll have a fluid column width.

Good morning all!

Hey Ms. No, I saw that show with The Bobs, they are great! They have the whole song Helter Skelter available for download on their website. Not Psycho Killer, but people will get the idea.

12605. Ms. No - 12/8/2004 6:31:19 PM

The Bobs! I've asked this before and you were right there to supply me with the info that time too.

Hmmm....HelterSkelter is quite a good tune as well. I'll have to go listen to that!

Got this on the work email:

There are several hundred wounded soldiers who will be spending this Holiday Season in the Walter Reed Army hospital. The government doesn't pay long distance phone charges, and some wounded soldiers are rationing their calls home. The number ONE request at Walter Reed hospital is for phone cards.

If you would like to make a soldier's holiday a little brighter, you can send phone cards of any amount to:

Medical Family Assistance Center
Walter Reed Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20307-5001

MsNo...I can't believe we don;t atke pics, either...guess we're too busy jawing to get to it. We'll remedy that this summer at Arly's!

Christi, I'll bet your hair looks great and it wouldn't surprise me at all that you look very good with it that way.

12608. arkymalarky - 12/9/2004 12:51:40 AM

Hey yeah! Maybe I'll take some this summer too, for a change!

Christi, we've been overrun with ladybugs too. That happens every year now, it seems.

12609. concerned - 12/9/2004 9:30:03 AM

I hate the prying eyes of furniture.

12610. concerned - 12/9/2004 9:31:38 AM

These are the Manson family home videos. Here, Tex, Squeaky and the gang lightheartedly tease Charlie.

12611. wabbit - 12/9/2004 9:32:41 AM

prying eyes of furniture

Sounds like a band name.

12612. concerned - 12/9/2004 9:33:08 AM

Thank you, Corky the Water Clown, for making us laugh about love... again.

12613. concerned - 12/9/2004 9:49:37 AM

I really dig goofy lines like the last few posts here (which I pulled from another site).

12614. Ulgine Barrows - 12/9/2004 10:47:37 AM

Late to the party as usual, I really liked reading your lists of music.

12566. iiibbb - 12/7/2004 6:39:07 PM
Anyone ever heard of "The Shaggs"?
Alas, yes. I have heard of them and have heard them, you cruella. Please don't remind me again.

An a cappella group I like, is The Nylons.

My brother is going through a difficult time, and I was trying to explain 'Train in Vain' to him, but he just wouldn't get it.

Three Dog Night - for me, their important song is 'One'.

The thing about lists. There are too many entries. One person has their own reason for liking it, another has a different reason. I'm the sort who wants to reply to each entry on each list, I hate to play favorites winky, but I've not the time.

XTC - Making plans for Nigel, mmm.

Just now, I'm listening to Lemonheads' "It's a Shame About Ray"

12615. Ulgine Barrows - 12/9/2004 10:59:38 AM

The good part goes like this:

some things need to go away
If I make it through today
I'll know tommorow
not to leave my feelings out on display
I'll put the cobwebs back in place
I've never been too good with names but I remember faces
It's a shame about Ray
