Thanks. I'm hoping we can spend more time there after my wife retires.

Welcome back, Wiz.

no skin cancer , fingers crossed but lots
of funny bunps and brown spots,
here and there-- some removed
by dermatologist due to years and years of
swimming in Minnesota lakes and elsewhere.

The sun burn stories made me think of one of the
strangest trips I ever made was to the island
of Malta.
and walking along the water and seeing Englishmen
still lying in the sun when they were red
as the proverbial lobster.
and asking someone about it
and they said...oh the English come here
to soak up the sun and dont care if they burn.

Thanks Wonk.

I just ordered two of the bracelets from this site: Not Me!

13334. Max Macks - 1/17/2005 3:31:57 AM

Great link , Judith

where did you find it?

13335. wabbit - 1/17/2005 6:53:10 AM

WoW, just saw the PDF, gorgeous!

13336. Magoseph - 1/17/2005 1:05:27 PM

Yes, gorgeous is the word, Whiz.

I see that I manage to elicit nice compliments from Mac and Judith—I guess I need them; otherwise, I would not be so blatant, actually, practically begging for them.—Shame on me! Ronski and Thoughtful mentioned how devoid of vanity the fat Brazilian women on the beach are. That’s not me, folks, as you well know.

Hello, Mac!

13337. Macnas - 1/17/2005 1:13:46 PM

Howdy Mago.

13338. judithathome - 1/17/2005 5:07:30 PM

Max, someone put that link up at Atlantic Refugees at People's Forum, in my All The News folder.

13339. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 1/17/2005 5:11:34 PM

Thanks wabb & Mago. Wabb, I very much enjoyed the small town scenarios, btw.

Happy MLK Day, all!

13340. arkymalarky - 1/17/2005 5:51:28 PM

I was just coming in to say that as well. Hope everyone has a great MLK Day, whether it's celebrated with a day off work or not.

Of course in AR, one can choose to celebrate Robert E. Lee Day on this holiday as well. Sheesh.

13341. Macnas - 1/17/2005 5:56:38 PM

Is there a Traveller day as well?

13342. arkymalarky - 1/17/2005 5:56:39 PM

Congrats, Wonderful Wiz! Sounds like you've got some very magical days ahead of you.

13343. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 1/17/2005 8:30:48 PM

Thanks ark, I hope so. Enjoy your well-deserved day off.

13344. iiibbb - 1/17/2005 10:54:00 PM

A Walmart story

13345. Max Macks - 1/17/2005 11:32:36 PM

13347. judithathome - 1/17/2005 11:56:26 PM

Hmmm...I posted "Here is a picture of Keoni and me" and it seems to have fallen off the previous post.

13348. judithathome - 1/17/2005 11:57:45 PM

Okay...someone will have to close the tags...I don't even know what I did.
