He is having a wonderful life these days--he who worked very hard to assure a happy and prosperous old age is in fear that death will deprive him of this wish. Seems her skin is deteriorating badly...probably related to her PXE...a genetic disorder of the connective tissue.
Amazing that she's lasted this long with the disease. She's 91.
Hubby saw her yesterday and is going back today. Said she really looks bad.
Whatever it is, I hope it's quick and I hope they are keeping her full of pain meds. Hate to think that she's suffering at all. No way to tell really as she's noncommunicative at this point.
