Congratulations Dan!!!

Three kids, that's great.

18036. DanDillon - 1/2/2006 4:22:44 AM

Thanks, Jen. So how're things with you? Do we find ourselves riding the same conjugal circumstance complete with progeny? A recent photo would be nice...

18037. judithathome - 1/2/2006 8:38:41 PM

Our party was a huge success...about 30 people showed up and we finished off a case of champagne and bottle of Chambord.

Ronski,

When can I move in!!??

The place is lovely.

18039. Jenerator - 1/3/2006 1:36:48 AM

Dan,

Yes - it seems that our lives are running parallel.

Here is a pic I shot of my son Dylan -

Here is a terrible pic of my husband and I (with beers no less).

18041. Jenerator - 1/3/2006 1:44:36 AM

Judith,

I love Chambord.

18042. judithathome - 1/3/2006 2:11:31 AM

Jen, we pour a little into the champagne flutes and add the champagne. It's my favorite drink now.

The people at Chili's (which I've been to exactly twice) make an excellent Top Shelf Chambord margarita, too.

18043. judithathome - 1/3/2006 2:11:47 AM

Oh, great pics, by the way!

18044. DanDillon - 1/3/2006 7:42:27 AM

Beautiful boy. Two? Two and a half? And you make a lovely couple. Glad to learn all's well and good. I'd offer up an image, but I have none to link. My wife, though, is a photographer, and I'm sure she'd approve of your photographic acumen. That's my first born resting on my arm on the home page.

18045. alistairconnor - 1/3/2006 10:48:13 AM

And a very handsome hairy arm it is.
The newborn firstborn is about as handsome as can be expected, but since everyone else on that site is handsome and healthy, I think congratulations are in order...

18046. alistairconnor - 1/3/2006 10:52:11 AM

Chambord? Had to google it.

Never seen the stuff around here.
I guess it all gets exported to Texas.

18047. Macnas - 1/3/2006 12:01:21 PM

Happy New Year Y'all.

18048. Jenerator - 1/3/2006 3:44:17 PM

Thanks Dan!

Hey, it's really a small world. I married a photographer, but now we both shoot. His speciality is spot news and special event photography. Mine is more along the line of your wife's...babies, families, nature, etc. Sometimes, though, we'll attend something together so that we get ample coverage. I quite enjoy photography. I guess being a Mommy has made me want to capture as much as I can.

How about you? Are you still involved in Linguistics? Or have you moved onto quelquechose?

;-)

18049. Jenerator - 1/3/2006 3:45:09 PM

Alistair,

If you've ever had a rasberry dessert in France, chances are there was Chambord in it.

18050. alistairconnor - 1/3/2006 4:14:06 PM

I don't think we go to the same class of restaurant Jen dear... Though in truth, I don't get out much.

Seriously. The word "Chambord" immediately brought to mind two things :

- the actual château

- a brand of electrical fittings I installed about 10 years ago.

18051. Ms. No - 1/3/2006 5:49:36 PM

Happy New Year to you all!

18052. Ms. No - 1/3/2006 5:50:17 PM

AC,

Now I know where they got the inspiration for the Biltmore Estate.

18053. Magoseph - 1/3/2006 5:55:18 PM

I think we had some pictures from the Biltmore Estate some time past, didn't we?

Anyway, about the Chambord wine, I think there’s a very clever entrepreneur behind the history of this wine who paid a bundle for using the Chambord name, but then I’m a very skeptical wine customer.

18054. alistairconnor - 1/3/2006 5:55:41 PM

Oh no doubt the NC version is bigger and better... the landscape is certainly more interesting...

but Leonardo da Vinci never lived there.
