18969. thoughtful - 3/22/2006 2:28:22 PM wonks that sounds terrific. Look forward to the pics when you get a chance. 18970. alistairconnor - 3/22/2006 2:31:07 PM And surely you have greatly improved your knowledge of cricket over the weekend, Wonk? 18971. wonkers2 - 3/22/2006 3:22:19 PM No cricket. But I had a lot of Indian food and folk dancing. 18972. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 3/22/2006 3:58:06 PM Welcome back, wonk. Should we now consider you a Sanyasan? 18973. wonkers2 - 3/22/2006 6:39:34 PM Nobody mentioned Sanyasan. My in-laws are Jains which is an offshoot of Hinduism. I checked Wikipedia, but there was no entry for Sanyasan. ?? 18974. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 3/22/2006 7:02:57 PM Sanyasan/Sannyasin
Etymology:Hindi sannyAsI, from Sanskrit sannyAsin: a Hindu mendicant ascetic 18975. wonkers2 - 3/22/2006 7:29:46 PM After paying for the rehearsal dinner, I definitely qualify as a mendicant. 18976. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 3/22/2006 8:03:22 PM Hah–well I'm sure you'll eventually be rewarded with gleaming-eyed grandchildren. Every good wish to you and Mrs. Wonk(–another very handsome woman, btw). 18977. wonkers2 - 3/22/2006 8:21:43 PM Thanks! 18978. Magoseph - 3/22/2006 10:05:48 PM Was this wedding your last one, Wonk? I mean, are you kids all married now 18979. wonkers2 - 3/22/2006 10:28:53 PM No, it was our first one. One down and two to go. He was the youngest. My daughter who is 31 is preoccupied with her career and hasn't met "Mr. Right." My oldest son is 34, and he has no marriage plans at the moment. He came very close a couple of years ago, but they called it off three days before the wedding. 18980. Magoseph - 3/23/2006 2:30:07 PM Well, Wonk, we may have two more wedding pictures to enjoy. There'll be another wedding for us and not too far away the way the romance looks at this moment. We're urging caution, although this time it looks just the right move, unlike the first one.
Hello, Mac, Ali, and everyone.
We are very busy re-educating Flexy’s muscles these days, going out, painfully and excruciatingly up down the hills, three times a day. It won't take long with since we don’t have to deal with bad weather and we have Flexy's determination to be as nimble as he was before his accident eleven weeks past.

18984. wonkers2 - 3/24/2006 3:53:13 PM Thanks, Mago. Here's a better picture that I intended to post instead of the one in #4009. Bride and groom and proud parents. 18985. jexster - 3/24/2006 5:11:29 PM Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times
with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up,
examine it, and put it down to give the vacuum
one more chance?
18986. PelleNilsson - 3/24/2006 5:23:20 PM I see a remarkable likeness between wonkers and Manmohan Singh, the India prime minister.
Singh has a better taste in turbans, though. 18987. alistairConnor - 3/24/2006 5:53:46 PM But Wonk has better taste in friends! 18988. wonkers2 - 3/24/2006 5:54:03 PM Thanks, Pelle. Perhaps I should emigrate to India and run for office!
