Isn't today the day she was going to the doctor? 19099. judithathome - 4/7/2006 12:45:49 AM The doctor's appointment was fine...he says I am making a little progress and over the next four weeks I should start to wean myself off the boot and the crutches. Cautiously, as I plan to do.
As we were leaving the doctor's office, a car in front of us stopped at the light and the back door opened and a 6-7 year old boy tried to get out, only to be grabbed by the male driver and thrown back into the car. We were going the same direction as the car...getting onto the freeway...and twice the kid tried to open the door of the moving car.
Patti (my friend who drove me) and I were appalled and I called 911 from her cell and she followed the guy for a few miles at top speed until we were able to relay the car's tag number to the 911 operator.
That was truly frightening...Patti was a trouper, hitting 85mph at one point...guess it was her time in Germany and on the autobahn! 19100.
