The URL link advice in "HTML Hints" is cryptic and relies on jargon. Small changes could make it clearer.

Don't forget the target="new" part--otherwise, the link will appear in the Mote browser.

You can just copy the above text--from <a href=, etc. and put it in the posting window. Change the URL and the linking text.

To link:
Use the sequence below substituting the intended url for "x" and substituting the new link text (what will actually appear in your post) for "y."

(Here print your formula with "x" and "y" in place of the sample url and anchor.)



My error on the jargon remark: I was thinking of "anchor text" in your post.
