My guess is that, if you have been banned, it's more due to a cumulative sense of your obnoxiousness. This is a voluntary gathering of people of very diverse opinions, and while we are very tolerant of each other's opinions (indeed, we enjoy debating each other so much that some among us have invested incredible amounts of personal time and energy into making this site happen), I don't see a reason why we should have to tolerate infantile behavior.
