The low-ball came back after we ignored them and they found out we were going to rent it. So they met our lowest price.
Not making a killing... lost money on the "investment", and don't have enough to put a down payment on a car. After resolving a $1200 savings for myself and my wife, the septic inspector/repair guy found an additional $600 repair, today. I'm not there to question it, get a second opinion or whatever, and I'm sure he knows I'm not going to stop the closing to tell him not to fix it.
