Anyway, it was the crappy one so I wasn't all that fussed about getting it back with any alacrity....until I realized I needed it today to put together the stand for my brand new
FLAT SCREEN TV!!!!!
Okay, don't anyone get too excited. I'm thrilled because I'm finally replacing my old TV --- 17 years to be exact.
Anyway, since I can't put the stand together I can't finished hooking everything up and I'm leaving for the Bay tomorrow and won't be back until Saturday or Sunday so I won't get to watch it before then.
Assuming that I get everything hooked up correctly and have all the right converter boxes etc. I'm not on wireless --- which I prefer anyway since it's slow and spotty in Midtown --- but I'm not at all sure that I don't need a hub to run another ethernet cable out of to the TV. I mean, the co-ax cable runs directly to the TV, but it's the blu-ray player that makes it possible to stream Netflix and it needs an ethernet cable.
Sheesh. I'd better just head to RadioShack and stop by the school and pick up my screwdriver on the way.
