I didn't sleep last night, that's how I feel too... it is so weird for me to be unable to sleep. Who is this person, anyway? surely it's not me, I've always slept like a rock as soon as the lights went off! 27638. Wombat - 9/12/2013 11:03:17 PM There are some others... 27639. alistairconnor - 9/13/2013 2:37:32 PM Oh Hello! I missed our birthday!
Funny thing. You'd think it would be unmissable. I married my ex-wife the day Chernobyl blew up, and never missed an anniversary... but 11 September, that's two different, important dates somehow.
I suppose I must have signed up to the Fray in 1995. It all seemed to be about OJ Simpson at the time. 27640. iiibbb - 9/15/2013 10:08:42 AM I originally tested for and always thought that I was an INTJ. I've come to the realization that I turned into an INTJ... or I always was one. 27641. judithathome - 9/15/2013 7:26:07 PM Okay...I'll admit it...I have no idea what that means. 27642. arkymalarky - 9/15/2013 11:28:32 PM it's from those personality profiles calgal used to do. 27643. Wombat - 9/16/2013 12:50:17 AM Meyers-Briggs, or vice-versa 27644. arkymalarky - 9/16/2013 1:04:24 AM Briggs-Stratton? 27645. alistairconnor - 9/16/2013 1:44:08 PM Or Braxton-Hicks? 27646. iiibbb - 9/16/2013 4:48:04 PM INTP... my sentence made no sense...
Meyers Briggs
27647. judithathome - 9/16/2013 5:32:10 PM Neither did that test. 27648. thoughtful - 9/27/2013 2:12:47 PM We made front page news of our local paper...they are trying to raise interest in a program to get people to add solar panels to their homes and did a nice write up with a big pic of our house as an example. Our 15 seconds of fame..... 27649. judithathome - 9/27/2013 5:10:25 PM Yay! How are you liking the solar? 27650. thoughtful - 9/27/2013 8:34:25 PM The solar plus all the other green things we did is working great...we fundamentally only pay for electricity 3-4 months a year. Our total energy cost in our house (lighting, heat, cooling, hot water, everything) is less than our cable bill. 27652. arkymalarky - 9/28/2013 1:43:12 AM How neat! Congrats! 27653. Trillium - 9/28/2013 7:59:44 PM Thoughtful, our household tries to be frugal, but your deal sounds even better. Can you give any details about your system and how/where you purchased and set it up? 27654. thoughtful - 9/29/2013 2:07:20 PM Trillium, we went very green when we built. We did geothermal heating and cooling with a desuperheater to preheat our hot water, 5 kw of solar panels, solar tempered house design, closed cell spray foam insulation, all duct work in conditioned space, casement windows, wood stove, and tankless hot water heaters. Further, we built into a southern facing slope so the basement level is finished living space and open to the south side. We don't heat or cool the lower level which maintains a temp of between 63 and 78 all year round. So the entire package got us to our result. We estimate that the solar panels provide 54% of our electricity usage which is the primary energy used in the house as the geothermal system runs on electric pumps. We don't use oil at all. We use LP gas (no nat gas available) to run our hot water heaters, our gas fireplace and our 20 kw generator. 27655. robertjayb - 9/30/2013 4:19:35 AM Okay, Moties: What say you?
"The Wire" or "Breaking Bad"? 27656. judithathome - 9/30/2013 6:18:19 AM No question: The Wire.
