I've no idea what i3b3 listens to, but I think we're within 10 years of each other (he being the younger).
It's one of the things I miss most about living close to my brother - sharing our latest musical finds. Sure, we text and call, but it's not the same thing as sitting in the car with the radio cranked right up to the threshold of pain and immersing yourself with another person in an audio-experience.
We grew up doing this with our dad, and if I lived closer to him we'd share too. His tastes are a little more traditional, but he'll give anything a try. As far as he's concerned, good music is good music regardless of genre.
Plus he's got a 9yo son who'll keep him up-to-date. 28781. arkymalarky - 11/23/2015 9:16:02 PM I know some of it...I need to borrow it so I can get off my ass and clean my house. Have been using Pandora almost exclusively since I changed phones, but I want to get my music organized and get back into it. Everything is just so crazy out of control at the moment. We even have a turntable that can put them straight from LP to iPhone that we never used. No more likely to happen than any other stuff we imagine doing in retirement. I've also been taking classes in mindfulness...it's been very healing and empowering.
I've also been volunteering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
I'm expecting 16-18 for xmas dinner with some get togethers before and after too. So life is good.
