It's tall grass and brush and a lot of deer and rabbits,etc, which command our yard, but the taller the grass the more mosquiteos especially and also ticks just take over. I got a great book for Christmas called "One-Hour Cheese" a year and a half ago. I'm still excited about it, but I haven't actually made any cheese. I like to page through it and dream.
Three Christmases ago the family all gathered at a beach house in wine and cheese country and a few of us went and toured a goat farm. My uncle's husband wants a couple of goats, but they still live in the city in D.C. Once he retires they plan to move to where they can have a little land.
