3923. thoughtful - 1/2/2007 8:45:32 PM Local apple grower has closed for the season, but not before we got a basket of mutsus or crispins.
If you haven't tried them, they are a little bit of heaven on earth...one of the best apples I've ever tasted.

I like a tartish apple with the benchmark being Macouns at the top of their season. 3928. wonkers2 - 1/3/2007 9:53:01 PM The 25 Most E-mailed NY Times Travel Articles in 2006 3929. Dinner sounds delicious. 3935. thoughtful - 1/5/2007 7:50:10 PM It's so wonderful having a stay-at-home-hubby...he's busy cleaning the house and doing the food shopping today so tomorrow all I have to do is cook and arrange flowers.

And schedule a pedicure for him at the salon? 3939. thoughtful - 1/5/2007 11:15:40 PM He may be weary....hubbys do get weary
Wearing the same shabby shirt... 3940. wonkers2 - 1/6/2007 12:26:42 AM My wife is still working and I'm pretty well retired. Can you believe she actually expects me to make dinner 2-3 times a week? I get no credit for putting the garbage out, mowing the lawn, shoveling the snow, unstopping the drains, getting her car serviced, etc. Things are getting out of hand. 3941. arkymalarky - 1/6/2007 1:13:09 AM Haha! Bob and I are having retirement competition. He's 8 years older than I am and thinks he should retire first, but I've taught a lot longer and will be eligible in two years. I'll go at least three more f/t and maybe switch to p/t after that.
