Here's real Concerned-bait:

Charlotte Allen, a columnist for the LA Times, thinks that the Republicans can win in 2016 if they run Sara Palin. Allen apparently was not writing satirically.

Whaddaya think, Concerned? Could you get behind Palin for president?

Do you think when Obama finally gets these reeducation camps going we can all volunteer for Concerned, or do you think we'll just be too busy?

45326. Wombat - 11/19/2012 8:11:21 PM

He's pretty far down on the wingnut totem pole. There are only so many black helicopters and UN operatives. I hope you ment "volunteer" Concerned. I have no desire to go a reeducation camp, imaginary or otherwise.

The blighted redistricting process...

The Houston Chronicle, perhaps attempting to stay abreast of the region's demographic profile, slams gerrymandered congressional districts. I agree totally. Seems to me there must be a way to have fair and more or less impartial redistricting. Any suggestions? Maybe it's a job for Nate Silver.
...................................

One of the few takeaways from the 2012 election where you'll get agreement from red and blue voters alike is on the subject of gerrymandered congressional districts built to give lifetime tenure to incumbents of both parties.

They're a blight on our system and a principal reason for the über-partisanship that has thrown sand in the gears in
Washington for years.

A fresh look at redistricting

Re. 45325 -

Making this crap up is all you got? Better spend your time bowing to who you obviously believe is your master.

29 hour work week likely to be the new normal, thanks to 0bamacare.

It's going to be tough for a lot of people working two jobs, paying for health care and trying to get an education for a better job.

Lefties brought this on themselves, and unfortunately, everybody else. Way to go, idiots.

45330. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:00:54 AM

iiibbb, Wombat - you look so stupid and trusting with your faith based reliance on Democrat Party whims. Not an original thought between the two of you.

"It's going to be tough for a lot of people working two jobs, paying for health care and trying to get an education for a better job. "

The idiot is the one who didn't know that's been the case for years.

Forget Republican 'dog whistles' regarding Susan Rice's incompetence when she abjectly parrotted 0bama's lies regarding Benghazi - have you forgotten this (among many others) air raid siren of Democrat Party racism regarding SoS Condoleezza Rice?

Never try to tell me again that Democrats are less racist than Republicans. I won't believe that lie.

That would be you, who foolishly believed in 0bama's promises in 2008. Arky, IRL, you are a partisan bigot. This weakness leaves you open to easy manipulation by demagogues like 0bama.

45334. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:16:07 AM

You Lefties here are in no way better than the Germans who supported Hitler.

45335. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:17:35 AM

At least Hitler didn't need a teleprompter.

45336. arkymalarky - 11/24/2012 5:18:41 AM

Hahahaha! It was that way long before Obama.

Con'd on Friday night. Gotta love it .

45337. arkymalarky - 11/24/2012 5:19:40 AM

Hotler! Hitler!

45338. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:38:59 AM

Not with 5% unemployment until late 2008, it wasn't. Face it, for the first time since the Great Depression, burger flipping is now beginning to look like a desirable occupation to many, all thanks to Lefty policies.

45339. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:48:53 AM

I recall seeing an article recently where in Greece, a long time graphical illustration professional was forced to move back to the family two acre farm to raise olives and goats due to the collapse of their socialist state. How many Americans have that option?

45340. concerned - 11/24/2012 5:53:53 AM

arky -

if you attempt to laugh this off, I will henceforth regard you as a thoughtless, uncaring child, regardless of your age.

45341. iiibbb - 11/24/2012 6:09:46 AM

Concerned... it is most funny to me that you, like most conservatives, continue to marginalize the people who would be most likely to vote Republican if given a real candidate.

Hyperbolic comparisons to Hitler and Nazi Germany are not a winning road.

I've got no interest in the Republican party while it's being run by the current cadre of relious nuts, fiscally non-conservatives, and the uber-wealthty.

45342. arkymalarky - 11/24/2012 6:26:33 AM

Don't forget the neocons.
