Bernie's definitely a threat to the system, and every now and then the people vote contrary to the money.

45957. judithathome - 8/3/2015 7:53:12 PM

Right...but not TODAY.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that people are "reporting" on the deathbed request of Joe Biden's son that Joe run for President...were these people THERE?

45958. judithathome - 8/18/2015 7:55:06 PM

Piyush Jindal just came out in favor of Trumps "no birthright exception"....wonder if he'd like it so much if it were to be made retroactive?

45959. iiibbb - 8/20/2015 12:54:39 PM

My wife always threatens to leave the country if a Republican wins as President. I tell her that she better get a kick-ass job because I don't think I'd be looking for work.

However...if Trump wins I might lead the charge. Holy fuck.

45960. judithathome - 8/20/2015 5:54:42 PM

Let us know...we'll join you guys and form a commune somewhere!

Great...do you know why there's all this brouhaha over immigration? According to Jeb Bush just now...it's a wedge issue the LEFT always inserts into elections.

Yeah...the left PAID Trump to bring it up and Jeb was just swept along trying to defend/slam the policies of immigration.

Jeb says just now, when asked about the term "anchor babies"...."Do you have a better term?"

I was shocked...the people that term is applied to don't like it...would Jeb like being called a "honkie" by others or would he USE that world for lack of a "better term"? And ask reporters if THEY had a better one?

He's not going all out like Trump but he's waaay off base saying the LEFT started this brouhaha...they might be thankful for it but HIS SIDE started this shit.

To his credit...he's not talking as crazy as Cruz, Carson, and Walker...Walker, who more than likely missed that class in college where the 14th Amendment was studied. He said yesterday "Yes, I agree with Trump...we need to enforce the Constitution!" Not REWRITE it but ENFORCE IT...which is what we are doing NOW and which Trump opposes.

Walker is a stooge...he's definitely not ready for prime time.

45962. robertjayb - 8/20/2015 10:23:28 PM

Walker goes better with Koch.

45963. judithathome - 8/21/2015 7:37:10 PM

This is just TOO good not to share...someone posted this on my forum. Proof that the rest of the world is taking notice of the USA and their candidates: Trump "Impresses" New Zealand!

45964. Ms. No - 8/21/2015 10:51:38 PM

The columnist is right on, but I don't know whether to be alarmed or relieved that the comments of many Kiwis are quite nearly as rabid and ignorant as those of Yanks.

...or maybe it's just that there's a higher ratio of foaming-at-the-mouth among web comments in general.

Trump isn't just "plain-spoken." He is aggressively, relentlessly abusive in both the content and the manner of his speech. Contrary to what a couple of those comments stated, he isn't just saying what everyone else is thinking. The vast majority of people don't think that way, for which I am daily thankful.

45965. judithathome - 8/22/2015 10:05:54 PM

Clearly, you are no longer living in the South!

I know you DID at one time but face it...the South is not California...I hear local people every single DAY praise this asshole Trump for "telling it like it is!"

Do you think ANYONE in Texas is supporting Rick Perry today? Or Hilary? Or Jeb Bush??? Hell, no...they're going rabid over TRUMP!

45966. iiibbb - 8/23/2015 2:43:01 PM

All a candidate has to do is point out how many times trump has been bankrupt (the answer is 4). If he hates McCain for not being a winner... why hasn't he dropped out?

He's a corporate welfare case who has benefited from a country that doesn't punish corporate losers.

And you don't get second chances with countries.

45967. judithathome - 8/23/2015 6:13:25 PM

His bankruptcies HAVE come up...in fact, they came up in the debate and he parlayed that into an asset...he made it sound like HE used the banks and came out on top.

Contrary to your thoughts on this, it only served to make him stronger...his numbers went UP after that.

He's like a troll on the internet...the more things come to light about them through their own actions, the stronger they get until one day, that troll is someone we support because somewhere, in all that "trollery", they've started to make a little sense...or what passes for sense on the internet.

Trump is a troll...sucking the energy out of the Republican party. And for that, I'm grateful to him! (See? The laws of trollery work!!);-)

45968. Ms. No - 8/24/2015 7:44:19 AM

Ha! I hope they keep working right through the election!

45969. judithathome - 8/25/2015 9:24:04 PM

Jeez...Jebbie...don't try to erase your "anchor baby" insult to Hispanics but saying "It's more of an Asian problem..."

Who the hell is advising you? Your brother(s)????

45970. judithathome - 8/25/2015 9:24:27 PM

45971. judithathome - 8/29/2015 12:20:48 AM

Everyone is saying Hillary needs to get tougher and so today she did...and now they are bitching because she got TOO tough....whaddya want?

45972. iiibbb - 8/29/2015 3:05:12 PM

I want her to stop listening to what people say she should do.

45973. arkymalarky - 8/29/2015 3:41:49 PM

And everyone should stop listening to Bill.

45974. judithathome - 8/31/2015 8:36:29 PM

Fact Check for Scott Walker

In the 2013 Fiscal Year:

376 Canadians who had a criminal record when they were deported from coming into the country, assuming some of those Canadians crossed the border illegally. (For comparison, 146,298 Mexicans with a criminal record were deported.)

793 Canadians were found to have broken immigration laws (including those above with a criminal record) and deported. By comparison, 314,904 Mexicans were deported.

822 Canadians were arrested for all offenses, compared to 424,978 Mexicans. Or a ratio of 1:517.

Building the Canadian border wall over twice the length of a Mexican one would cost somewhere between $20 to $33 Billion!

And they could still take a plane flight over it rather easily!

45975. judithathome - 9/3/2015 7:58:14 PM

And now for something completely different: an excellent editorial by Kareem Abdul Jabbar about Trump...make sure you read the link he provides to Trumps rather junior high schoolish retort! This Is The Difference...
