46263. winstonsmith - 3/2/2016 10:31:52 PM Looks like Ben Carson is out. 46264. judithathome - 3/2/2016 10:43:03 PM Did someone wake him and inform him of that fact? 46265. iiibbb - 3/3/2016 1:40:29 AM Jesus-h-fucking-christ
What is going on in this country? 46266. judithathome - 3/3/2016 10:54:20 PM I know....this is all over the local news and the state news....just shows you how far afield the Republicn PArty has strayed.
To think the RNC would support this moron is beyong belief.
Hey, Texas....you get what you vote for: didn't electing Cruz as your state representive teach you ANYTHING??? 46267. robertjayb - 3/3/2016 11:27:50 PM What fun! A battle of the filthy rich...
(NYMag.com): "Romney could enter the Republican primary race late in California and New York to deny Trump the delegates necessary to clinch the nomination. Then, at a brokered convention, Romney would emerge as the party’s choice on a second ballot. There’s no real hope that Romney would be able to beat Clinton — it would essentially be a suicide mission — but losing in 2016, while being able to cast the Trump phenomenon as a fringe aberration, would be better for the party in the long run..." 46268. judithathome - 3/3/2016 11:36:56 PM Nothing will be better for the party in the long run...while I did think Romney's speech was far better than any he gave in the last campaign, it would be a suicide mission for him to accept a bid from from brokered convention...
Face it...the Republicans are reaping what they sowed...and it is biting them in their collective ass.
Warms the cockles of my heart! 46269. judithathome - 3/3/2016 11:37:30 PM (from a...) 46270. robertjayb - 3/4/2016 2:53:53 AM Mitt is flexible:
“There are some things you just can’t imagine happening in your life. This is one of them. Being in Donald Trump’s magnificent hotel and having his endorsement is a delight.
I am so honored and pleased to have Donald Trump's endorsement. Donald Trump has shown an extraordinary ability to understand how our economy works. To create jobs for the American people. He's done it here in Nevada. He's done it across the country.
He understands that our economy is facing threats from abroad. He's one of the few people who stood up and said China has been cheating. They've taken jobs from Americans. They haven't played fair. We have to have a President who will stand up to cheaters. We believe in free trade and free enterprise but we don’t allow people to cheat day in and day out.”

46271. arkymalarky - 3/4/2016 3:58:17 AM BLM had better GOTV. I can't imagine what the GOP convention is going to be like. 46272. judithathome - 3/4/2016 8:41:04 AM I watched as much of the Republican debate as I could stand, considering I had just eaten.
Finally, I had to turn it off because I was a room mother for 5 years when my son was in elementary school and I saw enough childish squabbling then to last a lifetime. 46273. iiibbb - 3/4/2016 6:22:35 PM Trump and his goo-nads.... let it play a minute. 46274. judithathome - 3/5/2016 10:03:37 PM I am so sick of hearing that, when Hillary makes statements that if the leaded water crisis had hit the more wealthy communities in Michigan, the problem would have been solved the next day...according to Republicans, rather than this being Hillary speaking truth....it is "pandering".
However, you'd never hear a Republican say something like that so we'll never know what these bastions of virture would call it if "one of theirs" had said the exact same thing. 46275. judithathome - 3/11/2016 11:02:55 PM Jeez...six days with no posts...I guess everyone is as bored as I am with politics. 46276. arkymalarky - 3/12/2016 2:59:46 AM Work and life are nonstop, but I've been keeping up. Waiting for a severe incident in the Trump rallies. Almost happened today. 46277. arkymalarky - 3/13/2016 2:58:52 AM What a disgusting coward Trump is. On every news channel, spewing to his masses. The GOP is in deep doodoo. 46278. Ms. No - 3/13/2016 7:38:31 PM I just hope if the GOP manages to get him off the ticket, that he does run as an independent. I've never been in favor of a Republican candidate so far, but I've never been so terrified of the offerings as I am this year. W wasn't very bright and he had a lot of corrupt handlers, but he wasn't crazy.
Cruz wants to establish a theocracy. That's balls-out fanaticism. 46279. wabbit - 3/13/2016 11:20:40 PM I actually crossed over and voted for Kasich this year, hoping he'd get more support in MA than he did. Disappointing, to say the least. My town went for Sanders without my vote, so not a total loss.
Agree about Cruz, claims to be a Constitutional Originalist, but "God's law" comes first. He means HIS god, of course, and you're ok as long as you agree with him, otherwise you can go to hell in a hand-basket. Holy crap (sorry for the bad pun). I know there are people who think Cruz would be better than Trump, but I'm not so sure. And I do believe that the conservatives who support Trump will ultimately be very disappointed when they see him for what he is. He is not really one of them. He is all for himself. 46280. wabbit - 3/14/2016 1:41:33 AM Posting for JaH who is having trouble getting posts to work:
Well, we can relax now....two "allegedly" intelligent people (Republican commentators) spoke out on the Smerconish show this morning and they have a rather unique take on why there were protesters at the Trump rally the other night in Chicago...are you ready? Bernie Sanders sent them there! Bernie asked his people to arrange for the protests in Chicago last night.
It wasn't Trump's incendiary talk; it wasn't people fed up with being labeled thugs and "lesser beings" than whites as Trump claims every single day of his life; it wasn't the fact he urges people in the audience to "punch him out!"
No, it was that mercurial schemer Bernie Sanders, rubbing his hands together and muttering under his breath "I've got you now, my pretty"...HE and he alone fomented this demonstration from his enchanted tower in Vermont.
Listen...those sorts of delusional beings walk among us every day; they look and seem normal until they open their mouths...and if we're not careful, they are going to elect a bigoted, clueless tyrant to the highest office in the land. 46281. wabbit - 3/14/2016 1:42:08 AM LOL, that evil socialist, hahaha! 46282. judithathome - 3/14/2016 5:49:22 PM Thanks for posting it for me, Wabbit...seems to be working for me now.
