I'm always suspicious of whose side people like that are really on. Like literally.

Anonymity has a role in political action, especially writing, and sometimes is required to keep from getting killed or at least becoming a political prisoner, but if you're out marching for something and especially if you're out causing Mayhem, your masking is indicative of your intent.

Which reminds me, how Despicable it is of the doj to try to get that provider to turn over the identities of 1.3 million visitors to a website they host? Of course they're trying to get everything about how we vote as well, so maybe we're just getting our first glimpses of what's coming.

47104. arkymalarky - 8/20/2017 4:36:28 PM

And is funny for those people who went without masks and Charlottesville to see them suddenly be embarrassed about their actions. See, guys, you wear a mask when you don't want consequences of your behavior. You don't wear a mask when you are ready to deal with whatever comes your way as a result of your behavior. As per wabbit's link above.

And these snowflakes are trying to complain they're being doxxed. Somebody needs to explain to them what doxxing is as well. Being in a public March and being identified is not being doxxed.

Sounds like it's going to be a fun event. Stan likes a guy from around here named Ralphie May.

The subheading of that article says it all. I've seen that first hand over the last forty or so years.

DOJ v. Dreamhost, wabbit's version: in support of Dreamhost, I just moved the fr'archive to their service not ten minutes ago.

Yay!

I am so sick of pundits like Chuck Todd repeatedly saying Trump's base is going to stick with him. What does that have to do with anything? The people who voted for him are abandoning him except for his base. His base is not relevant to anything. Nobody's base is. I'm sure David Dukes base is still with him.

Another thing that's irritating the hell out of me is the low poll numbers reflected in the three states Trump won that Hillary was favored to win, people are saying well he had low numbers when he won. Number one low 40s is not the same as mid-thirties. Two, he's not running against Hillary anymore; his poll numbers he's getting all on his lonesome. Hillary's poll numbers were low too and that's what made her so squishy at the end and then Comey just thumped her over the edge.

In case anybody who is interested in "Russian Collusion" from Washington missed the news:

August 19, 2017 -- NY POST: IT Staffers May Have Compromised Sensitive Data to Foreign Intelligence

"Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say.

"...Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk.

“This is a massive, massive scandal,” a senior US official familiar with the widening probe told The Post."

47113. Ms. No - 8/23/2017 3:44:57 AM

Yeah, nope. That reporter is foaming-at-the-mouth Dem-Hillary-Muslim conspiracy theorist. He has a consistent practice of naming no sources, laying thick the innuendo, and glossing over facts that don't support his narrative.

There's a reason the front of the NY Post looks like the National Enquirer.

I knew I caught a whiff of desperation. Breathing it in, so refreshing!

Daily Mail on Imran Awan investigation

"Imran also had exclusive password access to the iPhone and iPad used by Wasserman Schultz last May while she was running the Democratic National Committee, according to internal emails.

"Thousands of these private DNC emails were published by Wikileaks last summer. The DNC and U.S. intelligence agencies believe the emails were stolen by Russian hackers, but Wikileaks claims it received them from an inside leaker...

"...There are possibilities that [Imran] or them might have been selling this information to anybody who is not authorized to have them. For the sake of money they would have done anything,' he added."

47116. Trillium - 8/24/2017 11:33:43 PM

"Imran, a naturalized citizen who was born in Faisalabad and raised in the U.S., started working as a computer administrator on Capitol Hill in 2005 after getting hired by Reps. Robert Wexler and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

"He later helped his wife Hina Alvi; his brothers Abid and Jamal; his friend Rao Abbas; and Abid's wife Natalia Sova all get IT jobs for members of congress.

"It was a lucrative enterprise: public records show that between 2009 and 2017 the Awans took home a total of over $4 million from taxpayers.

"They also had access to emails and computer files from Democratic members of Congress and their staffers, including three members of the House Intelligence Committee and five members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee."

GORKA OUT

47118. arkymalarky - 8/26/2017 4:20:35 PM

Hey trill, don't you have a link from the National Enquirer too? So desperate and pathetic. So sad.

Winston,
The trifecta will be complete with Stephen Miller, and then they will hem Trump in until Mueller gets him. And that's moving faster than I think pretty much anyone expected. Now that Trump knows that he can pardon a criminal pretty easily, he needs to think of ramifications, one of which is that pardoned people can't plead the fifth when they testify.

It's going to be interesting to see how Republicans handle him between now and 2018, because the power he holds over them is the power to primary, which he's already using, and with what's left of the Republican party will probably work. If Democrats can't capitalize on this, they can't capitalize on anything. The Nut Job who's primarying Flake is quite the piece of work. It says a lot that McConnell is spending his pac money to run ads against these crazies.

47119. arkymalarky - 8/26/2017 4:33:43 PM

Come on, let's see an Enquirer link. Inquiring minds Arky and Msno want to know!

47120. Trillium - 8/26/2017 8:01:42 PM

Nothing from the Enquirer (and wasn't the Enquirer the only outfit to report on Gary Hart's issues? but never mind, you wouldn't want to know about that kind of tacky stuff :)

How about NBC?

Seeking Grand Jury Testimony from PR execs who worked with Manafort, including Podesta Group

"...six firms participated in the public relations effort that Manafort coordinated, paid for by a Brussels-based non-profit called the European Center for a Modern Ukraine. The stated goal was to build support for Ukraine's entry into the European Union. ....Two of the firms, Podesta Group and Mercury LLC, worked in Washington with Manafort partner Rick Gates, according to lobbying disclosure records. Three other firms worked in Europe, the executive said. NBC News could not confirm the identity of those three....

"...At the time, neither Manafort nor the firms had registered as foreign agents. The executive told NBC News that was because the non-profit said that it was not funded by a government or a political party.

"In recent months, the Justice Department told the Mercury and Podesta firms that they should have registered as foreign agents, and they did so."

47121. Trillium - 8/26/2017 8:10:10 PM

Oh, and wabbit, about Christopher Cantwell? Apparently there are people in the small town of Keene, where Cantwell once lived, who suspect that he is a government agent getting paid to do shit.

The Curious Case of Christopher Cantwell

"Others believe Chris is actually an undercover agent or confidential informant for the federal government. While I don’t personally believe that about him, having known him pretty well for several years, I understand why they believe that. He fits the bill for an agent provocateur. The advocates of this theory say that Chris came into the libertarian movement advocating for violence against police, but when that didn’t work, he got reassigned to advocate for violence in the white supremacy movement. It wouldn’t be the first time the federal government had a radio host working for them inside the white supremacists.

"Regardless of whatever the truth is about Chris and his motivations, his racist views are despicable and I think I can speak for all the bloggers here (if not, they can reply with their own blog) when I say we don’t support racism or hating people because of their religion or gender. Individuals should be judged on their actions and words, not the circumstances of their birth."

47122. arkymalarky - 8/27/2017 12:23:20 AM

now?

Haha! Chris Cantwell the false-flag! Why you a-r trolls sure like to try that stupid shit out when you're losing a debate. And you're losing everything. White nationalist Trolls turning into snowflakes is a common scene and a funny one here lately.

As for consensual Affairs and gossip including gossip about the current occupant of the White House, I couldn't care less. The tactic white nationalist used to gain support of stupid people just doesn't work on the general population. Thank goodness.
