Not too bad but I should have used bold text in the call-outs. 527. PelleNilsson - 10/23/1999 8:47:38 PM For those who wonder what I'm doing. I'm experimenting with importing .jpg files into PowerPoint, adding information, saving as .jpg, uploading to the web site and publishing them here. It involves some juggling but it can be done.
The context is that I'm reading a book dealing with the study of large technical systems, a field that was pioneered by the American historian Robert P. Hughes in his books Networks of Power: Electrification in Western Society 1880-1930 and American Genesis: A Century of Invention and Technological Enthusiasm.
The enlarged picture shows a megasystem, several large systems that interact with, and are dependent upon, each other. 528. emily - 10/25/1999 9:02:25 AM just trying this 529. joezan - 10/25/1999 10:36:32 AM A friend e-mailed this to me... it's sorta funny, if you think about it...
(...it may take a bit to load, but I promise - it's worth it).
