Drudge 713. IdiotWind - 12/1/1999 10:53:14 PM GDit!
Goodbye for now. I'll try tonight. 714. Indiana Jones - 12/1/1999 11:13:16 PM Thanks for the translation. As far as the linking goes, when you're at the place you want to link, just copy and paste the stuff from the location bar (Internet Explorer calls it the address) like below:
<a href="stuff from location bar/address goes here">Name the link what you want to call it here</a>
You don't seem to be having any problem with the HTML, just getting the address part right. 715. Dusty - 12/1/1999 11:46:09 PM IdiotWind
If you click on the link you created, you will see that you have included the Mote address as part of it. Not sure why, but that's causing the error.
But keep trying, that's what this thread is for.
Indiana, thanks.

CalGal,
Car burgled? Just great! Why don't you put your feet
up and have a nice cup of tea? Or maybe a touch of
single malt. 721. CalGal - 12/11/1999 4:44:17 AM BobbyJ,
Thanks, but actually, I was very lucky. The car windows were smashed, but the alarm apparently did some good. They not only didn't lift the stereo (in fact, it's one of those that's tough to steal easily), but they didn't have time to grab the CD case or the CD player that was in the car (Spawn will occasionally bring his own tunes and hook up his headphones to spare himself the agony of Mom's music).
This is only the second time in my life I've had any breakins--the other incident was also a car breakin. That time they lifted my cellphone, my briefcase, and a couple hundred dollars worth of CDs.
The main problem was I had to drive home from the City with an open window, and while 45 degrees might not seem all that cold to you, I was a tad numb by the time I got home.
But I'd had a spectacular dinner before discovering the theft. That, and my luck in not losing anything, has kept me pretty copacetic about the incident.
