And again, as I said earlier, a lot has changed because of Aaron Swartz..

it's not just free access, it's ease of access.

I know I've been harping on this the last two days, but this development today is hugely important. A good sum up of the issue in this article from BGR, but people need to be raising the roof over this and make sure that Obama gets his way.

Lou Dobbs is such a tool.

8117. judithathome - 11/11/2014 8:20:30 PM

Of course he is...he has "FOX" after his name. You can't work for them without a "tool box".

8118. arkymalarky - 11/11/2014 11:27:22 PM

It was on at the truck stop, so I was a captive audience, because I was there eating breakfast, listening to him lie and fearmonger about net neutrality. Otherwise I would pursue me my purposeful delusion that lou dobbs somewhere along the line dropped off the planet.

funny site, funny gig at ted cruz: the oatmeal (not the onion)

Just trying to see if I can make a hyperlink on my phone, but man that took a lot of typing. Voice to text is so much easier, and long press select copy select paste is pretty easy too.

well crap.

Ha! thought you'd like it!

This is absolutely fascinating to me: Gizmo Makes Water Out Of Hot Air...No Word On When It Will Be Installed In Congress

8123. iiibbb - 11/27/2014 7:34:10 PM

Well, it's been 5 years. I bought a new phone. Things certainly have changed.

8124. arkymalarky - 11/27/2014 7:56:36 PM

What you get what you get what you get

8125. iiibbb - 11/28/2014 9:16:21 PM

Motorola Turbo because of the battery. It is pretty keen. With the Tasker app I can get 1 1/2 days of heavy use out of it. Everything except the navigation app is better than before. .

8126. arkymalarky - 11/28/2014 11:44:18 PM

oohh yeah. that's a nice one. are you using google navigation? I like it. I did apple nav and it was awful. one reason I just didn't bond with the iPhone.

8127. iiibbb - 11/29/2014 12:25:23 AM

The older nav had a feature that I miss. When you were on a route and you put it in traffic view it would zoom out and show the next 100 miles or so. On long trips I could see upcoming traffic jams and sometime plan alternate routes or stop and eat rather than suffer. The new one doesn't automatically zoom and it puts a blue route line over the traffic info so you can't see what's going to affect you.

Tasker does more, and power toggles is better than what I was using before. Another app worth getting is easytether
