10117. judithathome - 3/19/2011 3:46:48 PM Tonight, the full moon is supposed to look the fullest it's looked in 20 years. 10118. arkymalarky - 3/20/2011 1:12:46 AM Last night was cloudy, but we stayed out until midnight. It's clear now and we have the makings of a fire ready. 10119. judithathome - 5/13/2011 4:57:26 PM I thought of a great sign for political rallies: If Newt wins, we're all eft.
Crossworders will get it. ;-) 10120. iiibbb - 5/13/2011 6:59:09 PM No worries... the world ends May 21. 10121. arkymalarky - 5/13/2011 8:34:24 PM Haha. Cute. I'm just waiting to hear from huck 10122. wabbit - 6/23/2011 6:37:19 PM The FBI finally caught Whitey Bulger. They put out a PSA on his girlfriend and in less than a week, they have him. 10123. wabbit - 6/23/2011 6:46:47 PM Some unreal weather this year. Earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, fires...
Minot, ND is getting it now. 10124. arkymalarky - 6/23/2011 7:21:27 PM we haven't had any rain since before y'all were here. and none forecast. 10125. wabbit - 6/24/2011 12:45:28 AM Wow. It's been pouring here for two days and at least another two days of rain are forecast. Average temperatures so far are cooler than normal for this time of year, which doesn't hurt my feelings one bit! 10126. arkymalarky - 6/24/2011 3:17:18 AM It's bumping 100 almost daily. Can't wait for CO. 10127. judithathome - 7/5/2011 7:52:31 PM Casey Anthony found not guilty...
Wow. Just wow. 10128. Ms. No - 7/7/2011 7:30:55 PM Yeah, I think everyone feels she got away with murder. I know very little about the case, but it was my impression that she'd done it and there was very little question that she'd done it.
I mean, if the kid drowned in the family pool, why did they report her missing? Why did they hide the body? Why accuse the husband of molestation and abuse?
She must've been an incredibly sympathetic character for the jury. I think the evidence in the Scott Petersen trial was more circumstantial than this one.
10129. Ms. No - 7/7/2011 7:56:12 PM Ah, just saw some juror testimony and it seems that because the prosecution couldn't prove cause of death it's not possible to prove murder. I'm not so much on the "lacking motive" part. Her motive would've been the same as that of any of these killer spawners: a kid cramps my lifestyle. 10130. judithathome - 7/8/2011 11:11:13 PM The prosecution/DA should have gone for "negligent homicide"...
She and the defense attorney both have the same agent now...this trial will prove to be a money maker for them both. And no "can't profit from a crime" statute need apply since she was deemed not guilty. 10131. wabbit - 7/10/2011 9:27:39 PM RIP Betty Ford. 10132. wabbit - 7/10/2011 9:34:25 PM And Rupert Murdoch...LOL!!!
Jackass. 10133. judithathome - 7/28/2011 8:41:04 PM Watching this fiasco in the House today with this futile, doomed bill brought forward by the "leader" of the Republicans...I'm just amazed that people with pitchforks aren't storming DC and demanding heads on pikes. 10134. Wombat - 7/29/2011 1:48:06 AM Plenty of lamp posts. However the people most likely to do it are the ones behind the problem (tea partiers). 10135. judithathome - 7/30/2011 6:55:32 PM To the people thinking Rick Perry is a wet dream for the Republican Party in 2012, here's proof:

That picture was taken on Main Street of my fair city, Fort Worth, Texas...Perry and the Mayor of our town were celebrating some sort of NASCAR event. Hopefully, it is a portent of things to come: the Mayor is no longer the Mayor.
The article is scary...it reminds me of all the ignored alarms raised about Grover Norquist's New American Century. The past few weeks in Washington DC seem to bear out the NAC is here to stay and that people took it very seriously, enough so that they actually ARE throwing the baby out with the bathwater, as Norquist suggested. 10136. judithathome - 8/23/2011 7:06:29 PM Earthquake hits Washington DC...President still on vacation. (News as Republicans see it.)
