A friend of ours, who teaches French at a posh high school in Auckland, has brought a dozen from her class to the Old Continent, and my wife has arranged host families in our area.
These are kids from Auckland's upper-crust WASP private religious school; and they've just had several days in Paris. But I'm willing to bet that the culture shock will be quite minor, global youth culture being what it is. Interesting to observe...

The tiles were old, the kitchen needs to be remodeled entirely and made bigger by knocking out a couple of walls. This new floor will do for now, until and if ever more is to be done in the place. 10134. Macnas - 7/2/2004 12:51:27 AM And its off home with me.

It's made of brass and after a few days use, my hand started to turn green. So Keoni went to Lowe's and brought back a can of spray-on acrylic, satin finish, and applied two coats of it on the handle. No more green hand!
