10583. Macnas - 7/28/2004 12:28:59 AM Ha! You misunderstood. I meant that I have no way with women. I always consider it a miracle that I'm married at all. 10584. Magoseph - 7/28/2004 1:05:56 AM Yes, I didn't misunderstand you, Mac. I was just kidding you.
Forgive me. 10585. wabbit - 7/28/2004 1:14:37 AM That modesty only adds to your charm, Mac, you can't fool us! 10586. arkymalarky - 7/28/2004 1:50:59 AM Arky, Keoni came home in an SUV from the rental place. It feels enormous.
Haha! You ought to really be able to stretch your leg out comfortably! Is it a Suburban? People will think you're from Houston. ;-)
Thanks for the offer. I think we're good to go. I'm hoping to pick up some of the same barbecue we had the first year and there should be plenty of everything else. Jean and her two friends are cooking and bringing stuff Friday night, so we're all set for the whole weekend. 10587. Ms. No - 7/28/2004 2:07:23 AM Is Keoni making pies? 10588. judithathome - 7/28/2004 3:54:38 AM No, he's working late tonight and tomorrow night and even bringing his phone with him so he will be in touch with work. No time to prebake pies, unfortunately.
BUT! He IS going to make biscuits Saturday and Sunday morning...that is, if Arky doesn't mind. 10589. judithathome - 7/28/2004 3:55:56 AM Arky, no suburban but something smaller...some sort of Honda thing. Is there one called a Pilot? I think it's just an overgrown Honda.... 10590. Ms. No - 7/28/2004 4:53:08 AM Ooh! Homemade biscuits, yum! 10591. judithathome - 7/28/2004 5:03:27 AM Keoni is indeed the biscuit king. He makes quintessential biscuits.
It was one of the reasons I married him. 10592. arkymalarky - 7/28/2004 5:22:40 AM Oooooh, yes! I don't mind a bit! I think I speak for everyone who'll be there in the morning on that one. 10593. Macnas - 7/28/2004 4:11:45 PM Grey overcast sky, soft rain drifting in lazy waves, every leaf wet and dripping, every root busy sipping. 10594. Magoseph - 7/28/2004 4:52:41 PM Ah, a poet's soul, a lovely mind, a witty and kind man, here is Mac brightening my morning. Good morning!
10595. Macnas - 7/28/2004 6:06:00 PM Good morning Mago.
Steady now, don't mistake my rhyming for poetry.
Thanks for the compliments, 'though I'm not worthy of any of them! 10596. Magoseph - 7/28/2004 9:59:32 PM Do you know how I would have described such a scene, Mac? I would probably have written something like “Cloudy and rainy again, it’s so wet outside, I can’t it...” It would never occur to me to think that the rain might be beneficial to plants or trees. I would never see beauty in a grey sky, nor would I notice the rain drifting in waves.
You did. Next time it rains, I will certainly look around and think.
10597. Magoseph - 7/28/2004 10:31:47 PM Inserting "..it’s so wet outside, I can’t stand it...” 10598. judithathome - 7/28/2004 11:32:49 PM I've got tons to do today...so if I don't get back in here, have a great weekend, everyone...I know we certainly will! 10599. Ms. No - 7/28/2004 11:38:20 PM Have a wonderful time with the Arky's this weekend! (How could you not?) 10600. Magoseph - 7/29/2004 12:59:20 AM Have a nice weekend, Juds, with your friends. Give my best to everyone. 10601. Absensia - 7/29/2004 1:16:51 AM It's supposed to be 80f again today. It hasn't rained for about two weeks now and I'm starting to get crabby. Magos, send me your rain. 10602. Magoseph - 7/29/2004 3:42:56 AM We've no rain right now, Abs, just 100% humidity, a cloudy sky, and ungodly noises from men and huge machines fixing up the area sewers that bursted up because of too much rain. I'm going to take a nap so that I can watch Kerry this evening.
What are you doing with your time? I haven't done a blessed thing in days, except reading.
