Thank you, Prof.

What's funnier:

Mud wrestling or Dadaism?

11554. Magoseph - 10/2/2004 10:45:56 AM

I'll just wait for the answer.

Sending this from the public library in Provincetown. We were forced off the beach because of a storm surge--pretty hairy James Bond-type exit trying to avoid on coming waves in a twelve thousand pound vehicle on deep sand.

Wabb, you are most welcome!

Signing off for now--back in a week.

Ms. No, what's funnier?

Hello, everyone. I just went to check the Atlantic forums and there was nothing interesting to read. I wonder if their new policy of allowing only subscribers is going to be successful.

11557. judithathome - 10/2/2004 8:51:19 PM

No, it's not. They are ready to dump Post&Riposte and this is their way of doing it. Getting people to subscribe who were a vital part of the forum and then stripping it of everyone but subscribers....shades of Slate.

It is effectively dead. Too bad; for almost three years, it was a very lively and fun place.

11558. Magoseph - 10/2/2004 8:54:01 PM

I posted to you, Juds, in PF.

11559. judithathome - 10/2/2004 10:31:47 PM

I saw that, Mags!

Hello!

11561. PelleNilsson - 10/3/2004 6:02:42 PM

Hello there.

11562. judithathome - 10/3/2004 7:54:48 PM

Makes you want to scream, huh?

11563. PelleNilsson - 10/3/2004 8:41:40 PM

Good catch, Judith. I once used that painting for a likeness of angel-five. It captures the arrogance and slight disdain, I think. I wonder about A5. Is he lost in the quagmire of love? Battling the wounds of rejection? In one of his usual modes of withdrawal? In any case it is a loss not to have him around in the current debate about evolution.

11564. judithathome - 10/3/2004 8:58:13 PM

I agree wholeheartedly. Whatever he's doing, I hope he's happy. But not so happy he's not himslef.

Re. 11553 -

11569. Macnas - 10/4/2004 1:07:52 PM

I don't think you'd get much in the way of odds on that wager Mago!

11570. Magoseph - 10/5/2004 3:02:36 PM

Hello, everyone. Please check the following posts by Macnas and Pelle: Message # 5666 in thread 38 and Message # 5667 in thread 38. These great WWI photographs kept me busy for a while uploading them to my site.

Hey, Mac, come and say hello to me. Everyone has abandonned the Cafe. I'm so lonely.
