Where is he now?

12803. judithathome - 12/19/2004 7:02:53 PM

In Canada.

12804. wonkers2 - 12/19/2004 7:12:26 PM

With his Indonesian wife? Or did they split?

12805. Magoseph - 12/19/2004 7:19:48 PM

I think that they split, Won.

12806. wonkers2 - 12/19/2004 7:23:55 PM

Too bad. Or, hopefully, for the best.

12807. wonkers2 - 12/19/2004 7:27:05 PM

I have a lot yet to do for the holidays. Three children coming home starting Wednesday. Need to get tree, wrap presents, do Christmas cards, have surgery on my face and ear on Tuesday (removal of two small skin cancers.)and here I am procrastinating on the Mote. Just like cleaning my room during exam week in college!

12808. Magoseph - 12/19/2004 7:43:02 PM

Yesterday, I went to Best Buy and Sam's and bought things for a few hundred-dollar bills. Granted, I need everything I bought, but tell me how come is it that money goes so fast?

When I am rested from trempling two large stores, I'll hook up stuff on this computer--I guess that will be a consolation.

12809. PelleNilsson - 12/19/2004 7:47:47 PM

Trempling indeed tires one out.

12810. Magoseph - 12/19/2004 7:49:15 PM

Won, first things first-- take care the surgery on your face and ear first, please.

12811. judithathome - 12/19/2004 7:50:42 PM

Yes, good luck with that, Wonkers!

12812. wonkers2 - 12/19/2004 8:22:11 PM

Actually, Cap'n Dirty's having the surgery. Too much sun aboard the Tomater Sloop!

12813. judithathome - 12/19/2004 9:18:44 PM

I figured that much...I had one removed from my chin and it was a direct result of too much sun while lolling on the beaches of Okinawa. Couldn't understand why I never got any where my bikini wasn't. ;-)

12814. SnowOwl - 12/19/2004 10:09:48 PM

Best wishes to the Cap'n. I hope the surgery goes smoothly.

I'm in a state of total disarray. We have the Swedish contingent and the Aussies all arriving down here in the New Year and at present we have no living room, because it's being renovated; the front garden has vanished beneath great piles of timber because we're having a deck built and I've done no Christmas shopping because I've been too busy with the renovations to even think about what to get anyone.

12815. PelleNilsson - 12/19/2004 10:34:24 PM

You'll muddle through, SnowOwl, with honours. I have the feeling you always do.

12816. wonkers2 - 12/20/2004 2:10:38 AM

It's 3 degrees farenheit in Detroit with a stiff north breeze.

12817. PsychProf - 12/20/2004 2:57:00 AM

Irv is no longer in Canada...I will ask him next we talk about updating everypone. He is such a grat and bright guy. And yes, he was in Jakarta before Bali.

12818. Absensia - 12/20/2004 3:03:57 AM

Best wishes to the Capt'n and good luck to you Wonks in getting everything done. Snow, you seem to always get things done on time, but good luck. I have yet to wrap a gift, and many I've ordered aren't here yet, though they have been promised to arrive before Christmas. I've been doing cleaning, thought the fan belt broken on the vacuum for the second time. I think this must be a sign that I should not vacuum!

Mags, I have no idea if there is any correlation between the cost of things and the money that is spent. I just think whatever money you have evaporates as you go to leave the stores. The same thing seems to happen with checking account balances and credit card balances. It's all a mystery to me.

Gee wonkers, I hope all goes well, with you
and your dermatologist.
What day is the surgery. ?
It has been a pleasure to get better aquainted.

Yes PP and Pelle Irving Snodgrass was the name

I know that Irving Snodgrass was not his real name.

On Tuesday, we are going to be really cold for Texas...20s at night and low 40s during the days. I love it!
