I'm in a state of total disarray. We have the Swedish contingent and the Aussies all arriving down here in the New Year and at present we have no living room, because it's being renovated; the front garden has vanished beneath great piles of timber because we're having a deck built and I've done no Christmas shopping because I've been too busy with the renovations to even think about what to get anyone.

Mags, I have no idea if there is any correlation between the cost of things and the money that is spent. I just think whatever money you have evaporates as you go to leave the stores.
