J@h, you're looking forward to your bday? How refreshing. I don't think I've looked forward to one since I was about 20. It's been down hill ever since.
No matter how much I try to pull a miss jean brodie, i'm only fooling myself. Middle age is here and it sucks. Especially since I don't remember doing anything to get here. Mind you i'm happy with my life and all i've learned and done. But it just seems like I went to bed young and woke up the next day middle aged. How the hell did that happen?!?!?? 14398. thoughtful - 3/31/2005 8:57:04 PM Heck it's so bad I've actually started looking for anti-aging creams! Can you imagine? I look at the mirror and wonder how long it will be before i keep my neck eternally wrapped in scarves like kate hepburn.
Then the other day i read an old french saying that as a woman ages she has to choose between her face and her butt. She can keep one looking good but not both. Stay slim and the face will sag, get fat and the face fills out, but so does the butt.
Sucks, I tell you! It just sucks!
And of course I get NO sympathy from my mother who is looking at turning 80 this april! Yikes!!!
