Don't know about that but the big hardware emporium and the major farm equipment dealer here in spouse's smalltown home town now have large stocks of saddles and tack and fancy horse trailers are a common sight. Not so 40 years ago when I first started
coming around here. Back then the prospective inlaws figured, wrongly, that being from Texas I would appreciate a fix of horseback riding. They took us out to a remote farm where there were nags for rent. Yahoo! I did ride as a youngster working cattle but it was a chore not a choice.
re cats: Not a cat person but having a cat for a pet sure seems to have perked up the life of spouse's eightyish and long-widowed Aunt Dolly. Damn big cat. Black and white tuxedo style coat. I'm one for picking up mutts for cheap, but if i were to spend $$ on a cat, I'd debate between a himalayan or a maine coon cat.

The Maine Coon is the native American longhaired cat and was recognized as a specific breed in Maine where they were held in high regard for their mousing talents. Through nature’s own breeding program, this breed has developed into a sturdy cat ideally suited to the harsh winters and varied seasons of the region.
Of course with any animal, there are variations away from the specific breeders requirements...so maybe you saw a mix of some sort.

The trouble with these clips is that not included is that each song ends with the frog making a low pitched croak, just as he becomes visible to other people.

It was titled "David Letterman's Top 10 Reasons Why There are No Black NASCAR Drivers." I'm quite sure Letterman had nothing to do with this trash.
