Well, I bet she never missed to look at a good looking man in her life and that is a compliment to her charm and beauty ather than a snide remark, Wonk.

15389. wonkers2 - 6/8/2005 8:16:56 PM

Ha!

15390. PelleNilsson - 6/8/2005 8:19:16 PM

"Charm and beauty"? The world's vulgo queen, I would say. But not a bad actress.

15391. judithathome - 6/8/2005 8:42:54 PM

You're too harsh, Pelle...at one time, she was a good actress and she's a very charitable woman now.

15392. ronski - 6/8/2005 8:54:33 PM

As long as we're dropping names I established significant eye contact with Elizabeth Taylor in the Oceano Hotel's bar in Puerto Vallarta in 1964.

Are they, as legend has it, indeed violet?

Her eyes, that is.

15393. PelleNilsson - 6/8/2005 8:55:10 PM

"Not bad" means "very good" in my understated lingo.

15394. Magoseph - 6/8/2005 9:50:26 PM

The gene for violet eyes is a recessive one and very rare. What makes Taylor's eyes so beautiful is the fact that her eyeslashes are very dark and very thick naturally.

The mother of a old bandmate of mine is the only person I've ever met who actually has violet eyes. They're quite amazing.

15396. Magoseph - 6/8/2005 10:15:29 PM

I believe her eyes are violet--they have been described as such long before lenses were commonly used. What is odd is the fact that she had two sets of eyelashes for each eyes.

15397. wonkers2 - 6/8/2005 11:21:27 PM

Whatever color, they are riveting.

15398. Ulgine Barrows - 6/9/2005 4:44:11 AM

You are such an interesting lot, moties.

I've nothing good to add, still stuck in some kind of quagmire of the soul.

Reading what you're up to is soothing, oddly.

15399. concerned - 6/9/2005 4:46:23 AM

What is the human race's destiny?

15400. Ulgine Barrows - 6/9/2005 6:44:25 AM

Hey concerned, ya talking to me? Or taking a poll?
Time stands still, when there's no clear destination.

15401. alistairConnor - 6/9/2005 6:54:40 AM

Here's a friendly hand to pull you out of the bog... leave those boots behind and walk lightly.

15402. Magoseph - 6/9/2005 9:58:29 AM

What is the human race's destiny?

I’ll bite, concerned dear-- The destiny of the human race is obliteration, unless it can advance technically to the point that it can leave this solar system. In the meantime, what is the color of your eyes?

Hello, Ulgines and Ali!

15403. alistairconnor - 6/9/2005 12:39:49 PM

What is the human race's destiny?

None of the above. Meaningless question.

15404. alistairconnor - 6/9/2005 12:40:24 PM

Don't mind me. Just doing a "bah humbug".

15405. Macnas - 6/9/2005 2:17:55 PM

"What is the human race's destiny?"

I think the film "The Matrix" answered all my questions on this matter.

15406. Macnas - 6/9/2005 2:18:52 PM

Or maybe "Brazil", one or the other anyway.

15407. concerned - 6/9/2005 3:47:51 PM

I haven't seen 'Brazil', yet.

Magoseph - my eyes are blue.
