18596. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 12:33:03 PM aaaaaah.....we crossposted and I don't know who is complaining 18597. Magoseph - 2/17/2006 12:35:18 PM Terry McMillan is the complainer, not me.
I could tell quite a bit about … husband ickysickness and inlawness crazies... you know.--now in retrospective, I think that my attitude toward these people was really the problem.
18598. Magoseph - 2/17/2006 12:38:32 PM ....your post sounded so stark and final and desperate, do you have other family close by?
I didn't mean it that way, but you're sweet to care. Yes, plenty of family around and good friends, maybe too many of them butting in..:)
18599. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 12:40:56 PM Well there are some lines that are easy to miss in her books that may redeem her, and I could go get the book and drag us through this, but we could talk about something else.
I'm open to a new topic. 18600. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 12:46:04 PM Such as Rachyl Ray, and her new recipes. 18601. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 12:47:21 PM Or the air guns my son wants us to buy for his 11th birthday. 18602. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 12:48:34 PM Or how you don't feel your time is your own, but make it snappy. 18603. Magoseph - 2/17/2006 12:58:44 PM Yes, that last topic sounds good, Ulgine, and Rachael's 30 minutes from start to finish meals are too much for me, 15 minutes top is my speed the way we eat.
Make time for yourself, one way or the other. 18604. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:12:24 PM Rachael's 30 minutes are a complete lie,she arranges the stuff and has her minions chop it up on commercial breaks.
I like her recipes a lot, they are good, but they are no way 30 minutes! 18605. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:18:40 PM I saw the coolest pool table today. It was all carved with grape leaves and grapes, from birds eye maple, beautiful. 8 foot, not competiton size. 18606. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:21:05 PM inlaid mother of pearl points 18607. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:22:32 PM if I was a bigger jackass, I'd want those points to be ivory 18608. Macnas - 2/17/2006 1:50:57 PM Sounds naff! 18609. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:56:53 PM jaded
which part 18610. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 1:59:27 PM well if u n me and magoo and stair could converger in a happy hilarity again,
the planest would align with our force 18611. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 2:06:28 PM My drug-addled relative came over today, and in between nodding off, we did the home spa parrafin wax thing. 18612. Ulgine Barrows - 2/17/2006 2:08:02 PM Kitchen's a mess and you ppl are as dull as my dullards, bye. 18613. Macnas - 2/17/2006 2:40:58 PM Work Ulgine, it gets in my way all the time. 18614. Ms. No - 2/17/2006 7:50:45 PM Ah, Ulgine, I'm sorry I missed you. I was out with the girls last night --- actually I was "in" with the girls and it was just a couple of us rather than the whole crew but it was our regular monthly gathering and I try not to miss them ever.
I've got a big rubber pad that goes under my granite block to absorb the impact when I'm hammering things on it. It's a "pound-o" board, basically and it's about a foot square and half an inch thick so it's good for cutting on but I have to keep moving it if what I'm cutting is bigger/longer than a foot.
I'm thrilled because the more I've turned this hide to cut parts out of it the more of it I've been able to use. I knew I had enough but figured I'd have a lot of odd shapes left over and wouldn't know what to do with them, but it turns out I've got enough to make an interior pocket and to change the design of the strap and some of the fittings. I may have very little left over at all which makes me quite happy.
Hey, drop me an email at bridgeburner99@yahoo.com if you get a minute. 18615. Magoseph - 2/18/2006 12:06:17 AM It is 15 degrees now and it will be -8 tonight. The paper issued warnings to the population.
Wonkers, how it is at your place?
