I'm driving the folks to PA to spend the weekend with relatives. Mom is looking forward to it, but Dad will piss and moan the whole time (and yet, he won't not go).
I'll get to spend a few hours with cousins I only see every few years, which will be great fun. And it looks like I'll have good driving weather.

I used two big cans of sweet potatoes, drained, and one can of DelMonte Honey Glazed carrots (with the liquid they came in but may drain half of it off next time.) Mashed all that together with cinnamon and some nutmeg, a slosh of maple syrup, a splash of half-and-half and baked it in the oven at 350 for half an hour.
I think it would be better with the meat of baked sweet potatoes but Keoni said the ones at the store looked awful so he got canned ones. Happy Gratitude Day, everyone! 20602. Magoseph - 11/24/2006 2:14:23 PM We went out for breakfast before the Macy's Parade and then in the afternoon had turkey sandwiches. Kids, his and mine, all called--It was a gorgeous day, so we walked in the sun for an hour.
