23979. arkymalarky - 4/26/2008 2:44:17 PM I got to the email part and then it put up another video, but I read your post to Judith after that and see now how it works.
My world is good. I finished my masters last summer, Mose is teaching school where I do, and I'm trying to reclaim all the stuff I let go after being so busy. This school year has felt like a vacation.
Congrats on being a grandparent! Mose is 23 now, and it seems so unreal in Mote context, like your daughter, where we were talking about them going through all their teenage stuff. 23980. arkymalarky - 4/26/2008 2:45:17 PM Good to hear your mother is doing better Wabbit. 23981. alistairConnor - 4/26/2008 5:28:03 PM My baby girls are 10 and 14, and both doing very well in middle school. I'm ten months into the first mature relationship of my life. Some moderately severe problems concerning my lover's fourteen year old son, a good lad who has some emotional issues to deal with. Some see the whole thing as Greek tragedy, I tend to see it as sound and fury signifying nothing much. 23982. arkymalarky - 4/26/2008 6:03:29 PM Send him to us as an exchange student next year.
I'm not really kidding. We have lots of exchange students where I teach. I don't know how the organization places them, but I imagine they take requests. We had a German student who came to our school because his sister had gone there and loved it. 23983. concerned - 4/28/2008 2:04:53 AM My Southern Magnolia made it through this severe winter, and it appears, without significant dieback, but it's dropped almost all its leaves.
I'm holding Al Gore personally responsible if my Southern Magnolia dies due to global cooling. 23984. arkymalarky - 4/28/2008 2:41:00 AM Haha! I'm glad for your magnolia to be puny just to have a less hot and humid summer. It's been downright cool today. 23985. concerned - 4/28/2008 2:47:15 AM I'd rather have a long hot summer than 6 months of cold weather, myself. 23986. arkymalarky - 4/28/2008 3:13:36 AM You obviously haven't had one.
You can get warm outside in the winter. It's impossible to get cool outside in the summer. And the humidity is the killer. I need gills. 23987. concerned - 4/28/2008 3:21:20 AM Sure I have. Or don't you think it gets hot in Los Angeles? I lived there for six years. 23988. arkymalarky - 4/28/2008 3:30:38 AM It's the humidity. It's really bad in this part of the South, and heat+humidity is extrememly miserable. 23989. Ms. No - 4/28/2008 6:52:17 AM My neighbor describes southern summer weather as
hotter than two rats fucking in a wet wool sock 23990. Ms. No - 4/28/2008 6:52:53 AM Great to see JJ again!!
Wabbit, very good news to hear about your mom. I'm so glad she's finally doing better. 23991. thoughtful - 4/28/2008 3:46:11 PM wabbit, that's great news. A relief, I'm sure. 23992. robertjayb - 4/29/2008 2:24:02 PM Today, or maybe tomorrow, is Willie Nelson's birthday. Shotgun Willie is going strong at 75, testimony to the health benefits of regular use of marijuana. 23993. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:02:39 PM Look at that. 23994. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:02:54 PM I missed the one in Politics. 23995. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:03:29 PM I missed the one in Politics. 23996. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:03:45 PM I saw no one even noticed it. 23997. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:03:56 PM So 23998. arkymalarky - 4/29/2008 11:04:40 PM Wild Blue
