Well, we could name ourselves after that famous book and call our selves the Moty Dicks.
(Sorry... I'll go to my room now.) 263. ElliottRW - 9/21/1999 10:51:31 PM The little motes in the sun do ever stir, though there be no wind.

Ha ha ha ha! I'm enjoying your posts. 267. AdamSelene - 9/21/1999 11:00:42 PM ERW, Thanks. Now, back to work. 268. Ronski - 9/22/1999 4:40:29 AM Bacon was, of course, wrong. There is solar wind. 269. ElliottRW - 9/23/1999 2:44:52 AM
☺

True, but that isn't what causes the motes in the sun to stir. (Assuming that "motes" refers to sunspots.)

272. Dusty - 9/23/1999 2:57:56 AM Hmm useful. Thanks. 273. PoolShark - 9/23/1999 3:08:41 AM This is just a time check.
Don't bother reading it.
Whoops, too late, isn't it? 274. ElliottRW - 9/23/1999 3:11:18 AM Analysis:
The "Wingdings" font shows up well in both IE4.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.07. However, the "Webdings" font only works in IE4.0.
The "Lucida Sans Unicode" font has a different mapping for the smiley face under Communicator--it looks like a question mark.
Neither font shows up using Lynx2.6 on a DecAlpha unix box. 275. ElliottRW - 9/23/1999 5:08:10 AM Table Test
After table test276. CalGal - 9/23/1999 5:15:03 AM Elliot,
Important note about tables here--don't put any line breaks in your table code.
So after you build it, string it all together on one line. That will rid you of those unsightly spaces.
This is a site specific issue--it's not required for general HTML usage. I will change the HTML hints to reflect that. 277. Dusty - 9/23/1999 5:18:31 AM ElliottRW
Nice table, but you'll note there are more spaces than you intended. We convert carriage returns to < br > s so you will get extra line before the table. Right now, I think the only way around it isto string out your table elements on a single line. Does this make any sense? 278. CalGal - 9/23/1999 5:19:31 AM Dusty,
Um.
Isn't that what I just said?
