25870. iiibbb - 1/14/2010 3:17:10 PM He's actually latched on a few times so she's relaxing. Bris tomorrow, then one more day of inlaws.
My parents have had the good sense to delay their visit. They show up today sometime.
We've already established the concept of visitation hours.
At least I'm not stressed out about no work right now. 25871. arkymalarky - 1/15/2010 2:26:58 AM Haha! A baby'll drive everything else right out of your mind!
I'm sure all that has some role, Alistair, but I think most babies get past all that is it's not chronic.
My mother is ocd with a history of psychosis and my childhood was good but stressful, as you can imagine. But when Mose was a baby a lot of stressors were in play for both parents. Bob hated his job, I hated being alone at night, I had to go back to work before I was really ready, commuting an hour each way, etc. She can be intense, but she's got her shit together a lot better than I did and do. 25872. judithathome - 1/16/2010 7:06:16 PM There's no such thing as bad breastmilk...)
Well, technically, there really is...if a mother is doing drugs or is an alcoholic, her breast milk could be termed "bad for the baby". 25873. PsychProf - 1/16/2010 7:21:50 PM I will be seeing FreeToChoose(old time Frayster) tonight at an athletic event...any one want to send a hello? 25874. judithathome - 1/16/2010 9:01:53 PM Say "hey!" from me...though I doubt I'll be remembered.
And hello yourself, PP! 25875. PsychProf - 1/16/2010 9:16:22 PM Same to you Judith...I will say hello to him for you. 25876. arkymalarky - 1/17/2010 8:47:24 AM Hope I'm not in too late! Hello and hugs from me! I wish he'd drop by. 25877. arkymalarky - 1/18/2010 12:45:55 AM I am an i-phone widow. It was bad enough, then Mose got one yesterday. She and her dad are playing games while I work. 25878. judithathome - 1/18/2010 3:46:39 AM I just hate all this friggin' technology...yeah, I'm old. 25879. arkymalarky - 1/18/2010 8:25:49 AM I love it when it's MY technology. When it's someone else's obsession it's beyond annoying! 25880. arkymalarky - 2/17/2010 6:28:30 AM How was y'all's anniversary, Judith! A late happy one! I meant to post, but was frantically typing and panicking all weekend. April 10 I can relax. Can't wait. 25881. wabbit - 2/17/2010 3:59:27 PM Damn, I missed a few things here. Happy belated anniversary to JaH and Keoni! And PP, if you are lurking, how is FTC? And how are YOU? 25882. iiibbb - 2/17/2010 4:26:11 PM Still have my head in the sand
otherwise I think I would suffer crushing depression.
On the baby front things are looking up. He's been gaining weight, and my only complaint is that he doesn't poop enough (the formula supplements we're still using seem to plug him up). This is not necessarily abnormal, but it bugs me. 25883. alistairConnor - 3/8/2010 2:45:30 PM Hello - o - o - o....
To poop, or not to poop. That is the question.
When, where, how, and how much. Existential questions that obsess many people in our civilisation, to the delight of psychoanalysts and colonic irrigation clinics. One of the chief responsibilities of every parent is to refrain from transmitting our anguish on this subject to our offspring. Let them work it out their own way. 25884. wabbit - 3/8/2010 5:21:18 PM Hey Alistair, I can't get Firefox 3.6 to open the Mote, I'm getting the dreaded ASP 80004005 error: Microsoft Active Server Pages error '80004005'
Can't call method "value" on an undefined value at C:inetpubwwwroot hemotelibperl/Objects/Applications/ViewThread.pm.

Don't know if anyone else is having this problem. I did move to the real version of Windows 7 a week ago. I was able to get in at first, but not now. Any thoughts?25885. alistairConnor - 3/10/2010 3:25:14 PM Not a clue! Windows 7 eh? Persistent problem? I've got one of those at home, I'll have a try.
%#@{|§ing Microsoft... 25886. vonKreedon - 3/10/2010 5:26:12 PM Ok, now why reflexively blame Microsoft when the problem is with FireFox? 25887. alistairConnor - 3/10/2010 6:10:50 PM Ha!
Beeecause M*****ft do their best to make other browsers not work...
I don't have a problem with IE. I stopped using it years ago. (and I find the versions following 6 completely incomprehensible. Must be age.) 25888. vonKreedon - 3/22/2010 9:49:16 PM I'm really just posting this to get my name stacked on the thread list to an Jexterian level. 25889. alistairConnor - 3/22/2010 10:05:28 PM damn, and I tried so hard to get a rise out of you!
