2 year term, but a solid science job, and a chance for ongoing funding (meaning I need to write grants)
Downside is that P can't move until 6 months from now earliest because she has teaching commitments next semester.

I like them all, but the one with the trees arching under the weight of the snow calls to me...maybe because it'll be easier to write the haiku....
Then this one I like because it is so unusual to see the vivid leaves against the deep snow...though I should've moved the maple leaf...too outstanding amongst the ginkos.
Then in keeping with my old sunrise theme, there's this one which is also nice
Perhaps now I'm leaning toward the last one...I do so like the fact that the winter solstice marks the return of the sun. I'm always amazed at shots like that one as the colors are so vivid as to look fake, but they're not.
Did you know that our ability to perceive colors is affected by our ability to name them? People see color with their tongue 26584.
