Elliot,

Important note about tables here--don't put any line breaks in your table code.

So after you build it, string it all together on one line. That will rid you of those unsightly spaces.

This is a site specific issue--it's not required for general HTML usage. I will change the HTML hints to reflect that.

Nice table, but you'll note there are more spaces than you intended. We convert carriage returns to < br > s so you will get extra line before the table. Right now, I think the only way around it isto string out your table elements on a single line. Does this make any sense?

Well initially I wasn't. I was looking at the table and I couldn't see any difference and then I realized that there were spaces in the post other than what was in the table so now I'm having an "Oh, duh" moment.
